This set is all about homecoming: I played it at a bar in my home city of Johannesburg, South Africa and played B2B for the very first time with my cousin, Man of Lemon. What an adventure! The set starts off nice and slow with some groovy house jams, working its way up to some local classics and once again ending with darker undertones. Thank you Bad Manors for hosting my SA debut and thank you to this electric crowd that very vocally and physically shared their energy with us!

Motshabi - one foot in Germany, one foot in South Africa, with her spirit in the African diaspora. Motshabi is a Berlin-based DJ who creates an atmosphere that captures these musical influences and more. She’s drawn towards bringing elements together which seem opposing: rituals into the future; playful percussions on top of pushing basslines; light-hearted fun driven by force…expect bounce, expect energy, expect the unexpected!
