An hour of tunes I curated for an intimate festival on one of the most beautiful beaches on Vancouver Island. I hope you enjoy 💜

I first started hearing this style of music in the Spring of 2022, but didn’t know what it was called. I poached a SoundCloud mix from a bar in Montreal, and then a few months later my buddy Jason showed me some fire tracks. 
Within a week of discovering that it was called "amapiano,” I had produced this mix. I kept tweaking it for a few months and pretty much finished it back in January 2023. But it’s taken 8 months for me to finish the artwork. I custom designed the font and a big thanks goes to my friend Erynn for helping to finish it.

Welcome to the third entry into the Resonance + Flow series. Kimber & I decided that this would be a perfect accompaniment for the Ashtanga Mysore monthly challenge kick-off; a monthly challenge to keep students active in their daily practice. These sets are always exciting & interesting to put together as they require some pretty unique & creative transitions, as well as maintaining a structure that works within Kimber’s practice. The further I dive into these grounding drum patterns & mesmerizing melodies, the more I increasingly recognize that this unexplored realm is where my passion should truly reside.
