The 125th installment of the art:cast series comes in three parts and was recorded live at Torture the Artist's event at Luna Club, Kiel on November 26th, 2021. The webzine and Luna invited electronic music icon and Panoramabar-resident Iron Curtis for that occasion, who was musically accompanied by Torture the Artist head Holger Breuer and Luna mainstay Friz07. The sets come in the order the artists played that night but perfectly portray the artist's musical (current) preferences. Starting off with some proper (Deep) House tunes, it's Holger Breuer warming things up in the heat of the Luna basement for Johannes Paluka alias Iron Curtis, who guides the crowd through his musical  potpourri that varies between Rave, House, Acid or Techno before Friz07 comes in with a slight deep, tech and minimalistic vibe to round things off.

BowlBay is originally from Lagos, Nigeria, and spent most of his adult life in London, UK. Feeling a strong connection to his family and culture, his pseudonym BowlBay is derived from the first initials of his siblings and parents.

BowlBay has always been drawn to music, being a self-taught producer, singer & DJ. He put his skills to the test in 2020 by entering remix competitions. After winning the top prizes in these competitions and gaining recognition from his peers, he decided to leave his 9 to 5 to open up a production studio in London and pursue music full time.

His catalogue has over 500,000+ streams, across genres including Afrobeats, Amapiano and House. His inspirations include some of the greatest producers such as Dilla, Disclosure, and Timbaland; so it was no surprise when he decided to relocate to the US recently to pursue his dream and bring his sounds to Chicago.

Since being in Chicago he has performed at local classics like Celeste, Hubbard Inn, Kashmir & The Wit. He’s also performed in NY, Miami, Dubai and Lagos with hospitality providers like TaoGroup. He’s currently working on his album drawing inspiration from his experiences in the USA
