Sjaan began her DJ journey in London in 1999. Having taught herself how to mix vinyl during the golden era of clubbing in the late 90's to commanding the decks at the very best Antipodean hangouts including Solid Sunday, Fahrenheit, Fevah at Heaven, Tasty, Heat, Girls Torque and her own Saturday residency at the Crown in Willesden
Sjaan returned to New Zealand in 2003 with guest DJ slots at numerous high profile Auckland parties including stints at Cube before being consumed back into the real world. 
With COVID plunging us into Lockdown in 2020, Sjaan rediscovered her love for mixing and was an integral part of the Lockdown Legends live stream network playing a variety of multi genre streams that solidify her appreciation for diverse and deeper sounds. 
She now plays at different venues and nights in Auckland and is a member of the trio of female talent that is Lucid Underground.  She has recently started engineering her own tracks and has an upcoming release of her first tech house/techno tune “Old Skool” on Meltdown Records.
Sjaan has also produced some hard dance tracks for Trip the Light Fantastic, Dirty Boy Production and Fevah, which have all reached number 1 on Toolbox Digital.  Sjaan enjoys nothing more than dropping those epic tunes which get people on the dancefloor.
