Oli Swanton (aka Dj Oli) has longed to be a Dj since the age of 14, coming through his immense love of all things dance. One style really made the hairs, on the back of his neck, stand on end more than others, House. It was the unique combination of funky beats, chest pounding bass and sexy vocals that really inspired him to want to don the decks and tear the roof off clubs everywhere. With that, he started to buy vinyl and save for his first set of decks!

In 1996, Dj Oli finally managed to scrape enough cash together to buy two turntables and a mixer and started to blend the music he loved. The mix tapes gained popularity and in turn, the gigs began to roll in.

Whilst studying, Dj Oli kept Djing at local venues, his record collection stacked and in the year 2000, he began his own show on a London pirate, Soundz 94.3FM. Prime time on Saturday afternoons led to a following and many more bookings. Oli built on his Djing success with residencies at many clubs and bars in London, Kent and Essex. He has also made many appearances on Internet radio.

More recently, Dj Oli has been playing with the luminaries of the scene such as Hed Kandi, the Loose Cannons, Chew Fu and Example. He is also the head Dj for The Electro-House society at Essex University, Colchester. He has also held a residency for Pukka-Up! playing many glamourous River Thames cruises followed by sets at the now legendary Turnmills nightclub in London.
