°dJ PLAYER ONE • 

is the brainchild of Dwayne Banham, this dJ project represents X7M & Weapon Records in Australia & is based in the far northern tropics of Queensland. A key figure in the Aussie doof scene for over 20 years is known for delivering potent, powerful and consistent performances. Earning a loyal following & respect for his ability to lift and move dancefloors has seen °playerOne support alongside some of the biggest artists in the industry as well as headlining numerous prestigious events and festivals both nationally & abroad, solidifying his place as a significant force in the global electronic music scene. 



My old man’s collection hit me early with Rammstein, Stereo MCs, Kraftwerk, and Beastie Boys — plus the shadowy echoes of Joy Division, The Smiths, and post-punk melancholy. My childhood was pierced by distortion and underground frequencies. In my teen years, Berlin’s subcultures pulled me into punk and metal, so I picked up a guitar. At 18, I played my first DJ gigs in the indie electronic pop scene and became a resident in various clubs over the following years.

Now, it’s called me deeper into electronic music — where I produce twisted sonic realms, mix eerie mashups, weave psychedelic textures, and drift between experimental movie soundscapes and meditative moods.

Loukia creates mystical soundscapes that are hypnotic, deep and earthy with atmospheric psychedelic elements - journeys of alchemy designed to bring the listener home to their soul resonance. Her style is sensual and innovative, incorporating elements of psy-techno, bush and dark progressive, while drawing on inspiration from many different genres and the frequencies of nature - all infused with an entrancing dark feminine flavour.

The weaving of deep, grounding basslines with ethereal sound design and organic elements hold an intimate container for journeying through emotions and exploring the spaces within shadow and light. Her sonic journeys are heart-centred, profound, and relentlessly funky.
