Kara Square is the founder of Thinkroot Records and a ukulele slinging, songwriting, and singing music maker.  

Kara released her first solo folk pop album, Love Songs for Everyone but Especially Uke, in March of 2013. She released an instrumental album called Ukulele Duels in 2015. She is constantly releasing new music for Thinkroot Records music catalog and actively creates custom music for clients. 

Kara Square loves collaborations. She has a Tex-Mex guitar and ukulele surfer pop rock album with Piero Peluche (Italian multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, and producer) called Square Meter. She produced music with Rich Ratvasky as Team Smile and Nod for over 10 years (Look Both Ways Before You Die [2008], Mourning Time [2011], Dust from the Stars [single and upcoming album release]). Kara Square is an active member of the international Creative Commons remix website ccMixter.org.

Since joining ccMixter in June of 2010, her songs have been remixed over 900 times.  Her music has been released on many compilation albums including Free! Music! Sampler Freeloaded [2010], ccMixter’s Emergence [2011], Lawrence Lessig and ccMixter’s Strike the Root [2011], CMR Ohio’s Occupy Columbus [2011], ccMixter’s double albums The Best Time of the Year [2012] and Season of Gratitude [2013], and Free! Music! Sampler We Love Sharing [2014]. Her vocals are featured on acclaimed Turkish musician, Murat Ses’ album Light Cone [2012] (track 2, “Chiral of Past”). In 2015, Kara was featured in track by Murat Ses called "Endless Dance." It won Akademia and Global Music Awards (both in the USA) for Best Dance/Electronica Song and charted on Billboard Magazine in 2016.

Kara Square is available for works-for-hire vocals (Singing, Spoken Word, Commercial VO, Narration, Podcasting) and original music. She attended The Recording Workshop School of Audio & Music Production in 2004. Her music can be licensed for film, TV, websites, multimedia, and other projects.

I am an electronic composer. Using Hardware and FL Studio.

Scratching and cutting since 1995. Producing beats since 1997. Joined the "MC-house"  art and music collective in 1999. Participated in the Norwegian DJ championships in 2003 and 2004. Joined the Bergegrend art and music collective in 2011. Since 2022 located at the UNESCO world heritage site Bryggen.

Former member of Mad Stress, Mentale Tilfeller, Absolutt Åndssvak, Bastard Son Of Buddha and Bergen & Omegn Heisjamband. 

Currently member of Loket Avdeling, Tverrfaglig Samarbeidsgruppe and Det Unyttige Selskab.

Gitte Sætre is a multidisciplinary artist, working with dialogue-based art, performance, photography, video and sound. Her work has been shown at the collateral program of Kochi Biennale, India; Media Impact, Moscow; Artic Artforum, Arkhangelsk; Komunitas Salihara, Jakarta; Kongernes Lapidarium, Copenhagen; XX1 Gallery, Warsaw; Pristine Galerie, Mexico, the WhiteBox in New York, Kunsthall 3.14 in Bergen, Bergen Kunsthall, KODE, Fylkingen, Stockholm, The National Theater in Bergen and Guramayne Art Center in Addis Ababa, Bomuldsfabriken, Oslo Kunstforening;, House of Foundation.

Gitte Sætre's oeuvre deals with current and relevant issues, characterized by the weight of contemporary society, yet opening room for humor and quiet reflection upon roles and positions.

Karoline “Karolinski” Hegrenes is making deep impressions in the Scandinavian music firmament with sounds that channel dubby echoes from Norwegian forests through modern techno rhythms. Ever since releasing her debut album in 2018 through her own label; FJORDFJELLOGDALER - she has been a restless figure that has taken the form of producer, label owner, DJ and live performer, and has transported her and her music from a rural Norway hamlet just outside of Bergen to Oslo and into Europe.

She is a resident at Jaeger Oslo, where she also recently played LIVE for Boiler Room.

DJ Subway is a Norwegian DJ, booker and promoter located in Bergen, and is one of the main figures in the Norwegian Drum&Bass scene. He's been playing massive beats for nearly three decades, as he started his musical career as a DJ back in 1997, his sound is deep and deadly with the best beats and the darkest bass, his nickname "The Dark Soldier" is well deserved. 

His presence behind the turntables is unprecedented, winding up the dancing crowd into a frenzy of joyful mayhem on the dancefloor with his strictly all thrillers no fillers dj-sets! He has played alongside artists and other DJ's such as Goldie, Ed Rush, Lenzman, Doc Scott, TeeBee, Raiden, John Rolodex, Photek, Counterstrike, Serial Killaz, Terry T, Future Prophecies, MC Navigator, Concord Dawn, PsychoFreud, Rawthang, System Noise, Gracie T, Broken Note, Tim Reaper, Charlie Tee, DJ Marky, MC GQ and Commix to name a few.

DJ Subway is at the moment part of the dj and artist collective Veldig Klubb, which is a radioshow that is broadcasted live every second saturday, with national and international guests djs and artists. Founder and co-founder of Drum&Bass club nights ROOM 101, Drum Club, We Love Drum&Bass! and Riot Club. ROOM 101 has been up and running since 2008 and has it's residency held regularly at The Villa in Oslo. Norway’s only club who has made it into the DJ Mag’s Top 100 clubs in the world.
