What a special treat this show was! First up on hosting duties we had an original Disco Walton, Ken Avalon of Discoholics Anonymous @discoanon. Ken is a well respected DJ/producer and  radio host from Denmark. He has a huge following and his successful long running show, Hot to the Touch, on Prime Radio helped inspire the some fellow DWs to start their own shows. Ken has impeccable taste combining old & new and every mix is a journey & educational.

Our very special guest this week is Markus Lindner, a.k.a. Delfonic. We're all massive fans of Delfonic and we're super excited to have him join us on our show. Based in Berlin, Delfonic runs Illegal Jazz Records alongside Toy Tonics honcho, Kapote  as well as A&R/ Label Manager at wordandsound/whatpeopleplay.

With a history in digging and an unquestionable love for music, Delfonic, is as versatile and informed a DJ as they come. Delfonic applies his broad knowledge of music styles to almost any setting, and is renowned for blending multiple genres, eras and disciplines throughout his sets. It's been nearly a year since my last "Vinyl Sessions" mix. Although I didn't get a chance to make it out to Record Store Day here in Miami the other day, I was able to play some vinyl records in the lab and I totally got inspired. The thing I like most about playing vinyl is that it's just so much fun and so very organic. Even with all of the cracks, the skips and the pops and all and don't mention the higher cost of vinyl and then trying to record video. (LOL) So many moving parts but I wouldn't give it up for anything. And to top it off you guys really seem to like seeing and hearing the "VS" sets and seeing how they are put together. It's truly a labor of love! Enjoy...
