DJ Ruff originally from Amsterdam and worldwide he is the quintessential DJ for dance music in an era where people from all walks of life want to go to the dance floor and feel something that makes them dance and move with not a care in the world…  this is what he does, this is what he is known for..   the DJ of local and worldwide influence - DJ Ruff! Ruff is relentless at his craft.  Tirelessly putting in the strongest of efforts to make sure that when you step up into a event he’s performing at, and walk onto a dance floor he is playing for, he will leave his undeniable impression of what it feels like to be connected as one with the music and his intensity beaming thru his eyes, unsatisfied until he sees every person in the house losing themselves in a dance fever like nothing you have ever seen.  

From The Love Parade Berlin to Zenith in Brazil, Amnesia Ibiza & all way back into LA's underground parties, to the heart of all stages of Avalon, Union, Sound and countless venues scattered across LA where he makes his home, Ruff has mastered the art of making large groups of people dance all night long, as well as select intimate private groups in exclusive settings go bananas in the spaces in between for their chance to get a dose of what can be called the Ambassador of Dance Music in the forms of House, Techno, Deep & Tech House including his Ibiza style with over20 years of playing music for the party people to keep coming back more than ever, has certainly garnered himself a high level of respect among his peers and admiration from his fans.  

A quick look at his basic weekly schedule in the off season, will show you why he is considered one of the hardest working, most deep rooted in accomplishing his tasks, finishing his goals, there isn’t much at all that has slowed this Artist down one bit.  Even after 2 decades, just in 1 city: LA, he is the central figure organizing & playing key roles in making sure 6 different events continue stronger than ever in which he plays music for to go on week after week.  From TeckMeOut his creation and founding ideas going on 4 times a week, to the biggest residency at Avalon Saturday nights & including a new weekly he pours out his soul at, Club Union LA has since been the underground focal point every weekend Saturdays & Sundays, with a design of music directed by none other than DJ Ruff, he also includes a very strong following of supporting DJ’s, giving his influence in many up and coming local area DJ’s that credit Ruff as a huge stepping stone in furthering their passions in the DJ industry.  There is no such thing as a one dimensional DJ in his book, he is multi talented and hard working in everything he does.
