I started singing at the young age of two years old. I loved to sing around the house to the songs from Annie and The Sound of Music, and this led to a big interest in singing at church, where I joined a primary children’s choir. From there, my musical journey continued at Thomasuu G. Pullen, a school for the arts in Maryland, where I studied choral music and was introduced to the art of harmonizing. I was also able to explore different styles of dance, including ballet, modern, jazz, and hip-hop. These experiences fueled my creativity and passion for performance. During my time there, I learned to improvise and began playing the violin and clarinet, which added to my foundation in music theory. I was also introduced to creative writing, which has been instrumental in my songwriting process.

In middle school, I continued singing in choirs and started writing my own songs. By high school, I began recording my own music at the age of 14, learning the ropes of both recording and producing. It was definitely a fun experience that helped me grow as an artist. I had the privilege of being connected with producers like Sean Mathers, Frankie Biggs, and Robert Giazietti, who worked with various artists, and this exposure played a major role in shaping my sound.

Around this time, I also had the chance to perform for humanitarian benefits for Latino children in the DC metropolitan area and became a regular on the radio program Buscando Estrellas (Finding Stars) on a local Latin radio station. I also performed live on MHZ Hot, where I introduced my early independent music. One of my most memorable moments was singing at the Washington, DC Latin Festival in front of the Capitol, which was a highlight of my career.

As I moved into college, I continued singing in the choir at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. I studied vocal performance at both Montgomery College and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and was also able to sing in their choir. I discovered that I am a coloratura soprano with a five-octave range. My passion for music led me to audition for major talent shows such as American Idol, The Voice, and Making the Band with P. Diddy. I made it to the semifinals of Making the Band and received a golden ticket on both American Idol and The Voice.

In addition to these experiences, I had the honor of opening for Latin music legends like Gilberto Santa Rosa and performing alongside Tito Puente Jr., which was an unforgettable experience that shaped my musical journey even more.

My biggest musical influences have been Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Selena. These iconic artists, along with my diverse musical upbringing, helped me find my voice as an artist.

Now, I am finishing up my EP, which is a collection of songs that truly represents who I am as an artist. I’m beyond excited for you to hear it and am grateful for your support along this journey.
