AQUARIUS FULL MOON - TAKIN @ Sunnyside Beach Toronto

Material Series frontman Mihalis Safras makes a welcome return to Moon Harbour, this time alongside Swiss talent Yvan Genkins. Their superb 'Soda' is an impossibly lively house cut that never sits still. The loose, jostling drums are overloaded with busy cow bells, snaking Indian melodies, popping synths and tribal vocals. As it builds and builds, the floor will be in raptures as the track explodes into life once more amongst rolling snares, lumpy kicks and fat bass.

The Continental Breakfast used to be known as "Devine Sundays" at Zone. Addy would play at 6AM serving his signature 3-turnatable mix with sexy and rough tribal and tech. Deko-ze would follow delivering his blend of rumbling tribal, fist clenching techno, uplifting progressive, butt shaking house and smatterings of vocals and loops throughout.

Its been 4 years since they played together at Zone and Dec 19th marked the grand re-union. It was an epic morning and one of the busiest to date!! This mix is Part 1 of their killer set bringing classics, old school jams and fresh faves.. Just Like The Old Days!

This was my first time playing at the new CZ location, a lot of friends came out for the 8-10am settime.   while most of you were probably sleeping on a sunday morning, many were stomping at the CZ.... ha!
now... being that it was a 8am settime at an infamous afterhours, and playing after my homegirl Barroness who slays it hard every time, i must admit i was a little anxious about playing this.  I had to play hard and heavy to keep them dancing at those hours... it was certainly a set "outside of my comfort zone at comfort zone" (credit to Tanya the pun queen)...

big thanks to the entire Wiggly family that came out and stayed till the lights were turned on... thank you for showing this guy so much love

your listening to a live recorded set from CODA night club, one of Toronto's premium dance and techno venues.  Recorded on  Saturday Jan 16 2016 for the Concept launch event hosted by FLOH Entertainment.  Big thank you to the entire Coda and FLOH team for putting together such an amazing night.  Thanks to Alec Luna for the awesome photos of the night.

Now a little about this set: so Coda is known for being an awesome techno club, and my set time was a 1:30-3am headliner slot, so I felt like I had to bring it, and bring it hard I did.  With that in mind, this set probably a harder set then you'r used to hearing from me, yet it is stuff that I love to play and the the club banging to.

Also a big thank you to all my fans and friends who came out for this event, it was so great to see so many familiar faces at this venue.
