This remix first made its debut in June 2014 as a free download and quickly gained widespread attention from deep house music enthusiasts. Steyoyoke’s latest EP features smooth vocals by Canadian artist Terry Grant, including two originals by Soul Button, one by Soul Button and Aaryon, and a remix by Animal Picnic, forming a tear-jerking release. This ethereal techno blends moving melodies with dark lows and piercing highs.

‘Wraith’, by Soul Button, showcases distorted synths and Terry Grant’s reassuring vocals, adding warmth and identity. Soul Button’s technical finesse and Grant’s homely voice make this track a dreamy highlight.

Inner Symphony is proud to present Mashk’s ‘Pathos’, marking catalogue number 004. A melodic and uplifting affair, ‘Pathos’ stays true to its name, elevating the listener into a state of bliss and contemplation.

The title track ‘Pathos’ soothes with bells, claves and a warm saw bass supported by a groove laden with claps and percussion. Arpeggiators and sparkling pads weave in and out carrying the listener to a carefree place of fond reminiscence.

‘Ton Abscense’ slows the pace as a playfully schlepping groove of shakers and reverberating claps sets the stage for tinny strings, arps and ethnic keys to work their magic.

Mashk teams up with Inner Symphony head Soul Button for ‘Pensées’. Heart-wrenching soundscapes intertwine across a satisfying straight-forward groove. Delicately evolving horns and echoing keys cradle the auditory senses in a storm of emotion.

Finally, Mashk and Soul Button offer up ‘Pensées’ as an Instrumental version, enabling the delicate soundscapes of the original to fully unfold their potential.

Tone Depth already released a series of great and unique productions in 2018. When he sent this new track as a demo for fryhide originally, HOSH was completely blown away by it and couldn´t wait to play it out. On the plane, on the way to play a very important gig for him, he listened to the track while preparing and all of a sudden it made click and out of nowhere HOSH heard the „I Am Free” vocal from Johannes Brecht & Fetsum in his mind on top of the Tone Depth track. So he edited it right away, it became the highlight of his set and people started asking for it. A perfect match! After exchanging music with Solomun who fell in love with it as well he encouraged to release the „Free” version of the track on Diynamic with the vocal on top.

A chain of circumstances and everyone pulling together made this track possible and led to this very special version. Everyone involved is very emotionally attached to it, just as emotional as the track itself is.

After the success of ʻShadowsʼ and a string of recognised remixes, the anonymous dj and producer Soul Button is ready to ʻPlay Againʼ with another tantalising release. This second helping of masterfully produced music comes with the same endearing heart that beats so strong within the work of Soul Button and with the purest and most surprising vocals that have become synonymous with the work of this talented artist. The EP features 3 alluring tracks each with their own unique and well crafted sound to help captivate feelings of uncertainty as we brace for the winter months to come.

The EP kicks off with the title track ʻPlay Againʼ a powerful opener to any set. Filled with grit and laced with sex appeal, the track is a reminder of Soul Buttonʼs dark and yet playful style. Strong vocals stamp attitude into this venomous foot stomper. A devilish blend of percussion is tamed by a strong piano sample but still driven by an enduring bassline.

Taking a lighter foot in the next step is the pure and lucid sound of ʻThe Keepersʼ. The unique vocals are a complement to the reflective nature of this swirling track and bring character to the emotional build up of the narrative. A flourishing synth reminiscent of late 90ʼs house music, is the backbone of this well crafted piece and elevates you to a state of muse.

Closing the chapter on the EP is the haunting sounds of ʻCome To Meʼ, a deep and progressive track that hypnotises. This downtempo trip is a gripping tale of faith and fidelity in all things real. It is brought to life by rich enigmatic vocals and carried by a pulsing African rhythm that leaves you wanting more.

ʻPlay Againʼ EP will see a vinyl release in December and a digital release will follow including a dub version of ʻPlay Againʼ.
