Roland - Summer 2021

Starting 2022 with a new mix series.  Thank you to all my supporters who are always asking for me to post old mixes.  I am starting this new "Golden Crate Mix" series which is featuring all the old classics from the golden era of progressive house and house music.  I will sprinkle some new music as well but this series will focus on the late 90's and early 2000's sound.  I hope you all enjoy this and may you have a blessed 2022.  Cheers, Roland

Roland - Golden Crate Mix Vol 1

I am enjoying putting together this new mix series labeled "Golden Crate" . Some of the mixes will be dark, hard drums, vocally, groovy, melodic etc but the key is the focus on the Golden era of progressive house and some new music sprinkled in here or there. Enjoy this recently put together Mix titled "Sunset Mix" featuring some of my favorite dance classics that I had on rotation in the mid 90s and early 2000's.  It is a good blend of progressive house and 90's rave tunes that defined that era and also put you in that good summer late day or early evening mood.  I have included some hidden gems and unique remixes to fill out this 2+ hour mix.  The joy of putting mixes like this together is what drives me to continue bringing these out.  Enjoy.

This mix was done for the Medtronica folks as part of an interview I did regarding my residency at Club Space in Miami.  I had a great time reminiscing and digging through vinyl, cds and everything I could get my hands on from that era. I.K.U.L.M - (N - Hanced Hot Wheels ReRub)

Roland began his DJ career in Miami playing at South Beach back in the early 90's. He is regarded as one of Miami's pioneers in the electronic dance music scene. In 2001, Roland started his long running residency at Club Space Miami where his versatility brought him to the main room and terrace every week alongside all the big names in the industry. He helped cultivate parties such as “Lunar Sessions” and “Local Celebrity” among his long running local parties.  Further notable residencies in South Florida include Nocturnal, Gryphon and Stache spanning 2 decades in the Miami/ Local club scene. Roland's work as a producer include tracks with labels such as Nervous Records, Kontor, Kingdom Kome Cuts and more.  Roland has travelled as a DJ worldwide over the course of 3 decades and continues contributing to dance floors with his unique DJ sets and productions.
