Hello Everyone:

Welcome to A Complete Balearic Journey - Session 23 - Autumn 2012, the first in a series of all new EPIC adventures taking you (the listener) on a voyage through the seasons and sound. I feel that each season has its own unique sound, a sub-genre that provides an aural feel of what our other senses experience.

Autumn is golden, hence "My Golden Autumn" of 1986. Everything that I am or ever could or would be is a direct result of the events and experiences that transpired during this period of time. I literally "fell" into ME, in a profound way such as words cannot describe. I’d like to write that this was by far, the happiest and most fulfilling time in my life, though I am somewhat hesitant to do so. Maybe I should just leave it at that, though I often find myself using "My Golden Autumn" as a comparative or expecting other seasons, other Autumns perhaps, to measure up, so to speak. Like so many other magic and special times, they only happen once, sadly, though it is obviously meant to be this way.

The track selection for this mix came quite easily, quite possibly because I know Autumn and its sound so well. This mix (the middle of the end) is reflective of all that November is, especially that special feeling that comes with no other month or season. Again, I will be your trusted guide as WE travel upwards toward the peak (with 2 full hours of 140 bpm epic TRANCE) and begin OUR descent.

OUR journey begins on a November night, treees now bare illuminated by a cold Moon. The sultry nights of IBIZA having moved even further away. All is not LOST, for in the music WE are FOUND, a comfort in this season of ultimate change. Balearic TRANCE, progressive TRANCE, classic TRANCE, and epic TRANCE provide the appropriate backdrop for OUR journey.
