The past few years I have been listening to old Luther songs like crazy. This man was just so talented and his voice is still a "One of One" type of singing voice to this very day. I am currently gathering some cool 'LV' remixes for an upcoming mix and noticed that I didn't have any versions of this smooth tune.  I hope you guys Enjoy!!!

(Whew)  I have always been drawn to this amazing song from Soul Legends: Frankie Beverly and his super talented group Maze. This is the title track from their 1983 now classic album and as per usual I just wanted to play this on The Dance Floors all around the globe... Enjoy!!!  :-)

I've been hearing about Anita Baker since the 1982 or so. One of her band members from her first group "Chapter 8" lived directly across the street from my best friend. They had a song called called "I Just Want to Be Your Girl" that my favorite DJ Mojo would play every now and then. I hadn't heard that much else from them, as a matter of fact I later heard they broke up like so many groups do. Then right in the middle of the 80's Anita started to reemerge. Her sound was more than just R&B to me, she always had a Jazzy tone to her voice. When her second solo album "Rapture" came out, it was official our very own Ms. Baker had "Gone Global." 

I was digging recently for some underground DJ Edits as I often do, and it occurred to me that there wasn't lots of Anita mixes out there. So I put this one together strictly for myself at first and then I realized her 60th Birthday (Jan. 26) was soon approaching so I decided to share...
