For the Plex All Stars party we welcomed back Rob Hall [Gescom/SKAM] who is one of my favourite DJ's (along with Mills obvs!). I have seen him play many times over the years and quite frankly he is the best in the business in how he seamlessly weaves in so many styles & genres into his sets. A proper master of the art.

Rob played at the 2nd Plex alongside Eon in Feb 2007, the recordings of which have not survived so I'm really happy we had this sublime 2hr set in the archives and can share this one with you guys. It's a classic.

We're buzzing buzz buzz to have our good friend Jenifa break her hiatus for a session on O to O. A true creative in many frontiers, this audio-visual wizard has been playing all around Helsinki and has become known as a soulful selector of house-y house. With a keen ear for a more worldly avenue of said genre, Jenifa effortlessly weaves together emotional yet wonderfully groovy cuts. Here's an hour of music that Jenifa represent the fruits of a short break in active gigging in order to find some new inspiring paths in music.

PARAL·LEL MEMORIES:

September 2, 2022, was not just any regular date. It was the day we were ready to head to the mountains.

We remember as if it was yesterday, especially during the lockdown (early 2020) when, with a drink in the right hand and a cigarrete in the left, we were sharing videos of Paral·lel on full-size-screen when we were taking a rest from curating .apart (digging music and reciving huge artists deliveries with its corresponding attentive listening). That was our happy daily routine. 

Continuing with Paral·lel, the family reunion that was breathed on those vids could be smelled through the screen. It was that kind of "made in Spain festival" with exquisite care. And we were not wrong!

Once assisted, finally there in real life...(sights)…the experience was highly gratifying. This community of honest people and the music itself reaffirmed why we persist on this. 

As we did with ‘primeras piedras’, we want to share with you some music. This time, some bits and memories captured with our handy-recorders on those days. Scored and processed after with our gear. A way to say thank you.
