Hailing from Moss Side, Manchester, his surroundings growing up in a Windrush hub ensured that his path led only one way. 

From attending free parties in his younger years to celebrating three years of running his successful multi-genre label, Spynal Records, Dili has come a long way on his journey. His mix is also a journey that covers all ends of the drum & bass spectrum.

Finding inspiration from his family, his city and his life experiences, Diligent Fingers breaks boundaries in his productions by speaking about them in his tracks. Most notably, Cabin Fever, where he touches on his mental health. 

Also the host of the Forward Motion Podcast, Dili champions an array of artists on his Twitch streams and provides sound advice for artists beginning their journey into the scene in this.

FIVE-OH - EPISODE 1 - JUNGLE

The Five-Oh Project is a mix series I'm putting together after turning 50 years old this year. It's a throwback to when I recorded a mix called "Four-Oh" on my 40th birthday. 

This year, I got a little busy around my actual birthday so I thought I'd make it a little more grand than a single mix. 

So here's episode one which is comprised of jungle and a dash of the new school hardcore sound. I really like this stuff and I hope you'll enjoy what I've put together here. As usual, this is all off the dome and done on the fly.

Fourth and final premiere "Ciphercut“ by @genus-aix is out now. In "Ciphercut", Genus Aix reveals a new facet of his sound, leaning into a bass-heavy, raw, and darker sound aesthetic. The track adds a post-dubstep-tinged edge to the compilation, evoking the feel of a slow-motion moshpit.
