BIO:

My passion for music, especially rave stems from a young age. I got my first pair of Numark turntables for my birthday at the age of 13, and I've never looked back! I started mixing Makina, and a little bit of bounce too. I invested in a set of Technics at around the age of 16, and started to take my mixing more seriously, with a lot of practice, and others showing me how to beatmatch properly. At 18 my love for hardcore was reignited, and I started buying hardcore vinyl. With hardcore vinyl pressing in the decline, i took the decision at around 20 to go into the world of digital Dj'ing, and i invested in my first pair of CDJ's. Since then i have upgraded a couple of times, and i now use a pair of Pioneer CDJ 2000's, which i have had for around 7 or 8 years now. I'll try my hand at pretty much any music style, but my main love is for hardcore & makina. Feel free to ask any questions, don't forget to like and share if you listen and enjoy my mixes! Always loved my tunes
It is one of my passions 🤘🎶

Circa 2014 I started DJing at a local pub and quickly found out how much I loved causing a party. Naturally the next step was mixing and during covid, I learned how to mix. Keeping my brain from turning to mush and quickly found it to be my favourite hobby, taking over from gaming.

In the last few years I have started my own production and mash-ups as I wanted to find a way of getting the songs out of my head and out of a pair of speakers.

I love getting inspiration from artists I've followed throughout the years, all from such different sub genres of dance music and beyond. I try to combine these musical influences and put my own spin on it.

From the early days of "Collosseum" and "Judgement Day" tapes being passed around the classroom at school, to hitting dancefloors in the midst of the UK Hardcore boom in the early noughties, learning his trade as a DJ on a set of Citronics turntables and experimenting with his first productions... Mr Ripley is now a performing artist around the world, with 2 albums and a string of releases to his name.

Understanding of the community foundations that rave culture is built upon, Dave established "Stomp!" in Leeds as one of the UK's favourite underground Hardcore parties - bringing some of the biggest names in rave music to the city and showcasing some of the best fresh talent - creating an inclusive, feelgood vibe that ravers took back into their everyday lives.

Embracing the open-minded, anything-goes, multi-genre ethos that's sweeping the UK's party scene, Mr Ripley's talent is connecting with dancefloors and living those blissful raving moments with partygoers - every stomp of the way! ;)
