Uncharted - 2011

Volta, whose real name is Raphaël, has been one of the cornerstones of the Swiss electronic scene for over 25 years. Born in 1982, he was immersed in music from a young age, captivated by his brother's turntables. At 10 years old, he started composing on his first synthesizer and attended Hug Musique in Lausanne, a place that would later become his employer.
Passionate about the first Swiss raves of the 90s, Volta drew inspiration from the raw and visionary sounds of Emmanuel Top, Underground Resistance, Kraftwerk, and The Prodigy. By the age of 18, he was already DJing at Space in Ibiza, and he built his reputation on Swiss and European stages alongside icons such as Vitalic, DJ Hell, and Marco Carola. He is known for his exclusively vinyl sets, where technique and sonic curiosity make each performance a unique experience.
In 2003, he founded VR Records, a vinyl shop that became a cult destination, and then R-Productions, which organized landmark events such as Les Pirates Audio and Les Moulins Bleus, where he supported the local scene and provided a platform for emerging talents. That same year, he launched the VR School, a DJing and music production school, where he shares his knowledge with passion and discipline. The Chocolate DJ Contest, which he has been contributing to from the start, has uncovered several rising stars.
On the production side, his remix for Jesse Somfay in 2006 was praised by artists like Ellen Allien and Richie Hawtin. Alongside Salvatore Freda, he released several EPs on prestigious labels such as Liebe Detail, Music Man, and Remote Area, with tracks played by Carl Cox and Luciano.
Today, at the helm of Wavestudios, an agency specializing in sound design for brands, Volta continues to DJ, teach, and elevate the Swiss techno scene, notably through events like Club François. His unwavering commitment and generosity have earned him the respect of the scene, both for his career and for his dedication to sharing his knowledge.

DADIVE, born in Sicily back in the 70' but lives in Switzerland since his very first youngster steps.
The producer, DJ, author, composer DADIVE has been busy with artistic expression and especially music for at least the last two decades. Since then, he spreads and shares his passion, which is mainly electronic music in many ways and alltogether in different styles; from trip-hop to d'n'b or dub, then electro, so detroit techno, house, also soundscores but mainly minimal techno...or let's call it as simple as Electronic Dance Music! 
He could delight the dancefloor countless times in various clubs, bars, studios and events together with other great artists in Switzerland where he lives and abroad. like. His impressive liveacts are occasionally described as dark, deep, creepy, compelling, with hypnotic vibes, mesmerizing sounds, though groovy among massively percussiv.

But for those who know DADIVE personally, they could certainly confirm, that his predilection and devotion goes essentially in collecting, creating and manipulating sounds, bits, noises and beats in order to (re-)arrange and produce a song or whatever musical....one day, somewhere, somehow...

Further, during the last few years he dedicated a generous part of his creative musical investment to the Creative Commons License Community. Even though after being released on commercial releases he continues to substantially support platforms and netlabels who share that CC philosophy and spreading the credo of quality instead of quantity. 

To make it short and to reach a biographical conclusion from this wise and manifold artist, here's a characteristic quotation of him: « designing music is all about poetry and love, ...and like love, you need to share it to perceive it's power! »

Audio Playground is a Canadian band formed in June 2009 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The group consists of Canadian producers Rubix & DSL and vocalist Anthony Gitto. In 2012, they opened a studio and established themselves in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Audio Playground releases its songs simultaneously in various formats and versions in a unique formula targetting diverse genres, including pop, dance, electro, hard house, Latin hip‐hop and urban, cooperating with many DJs, producers and performers. They also work on utilizing various languages- mostly French and Spanish, to maximize the reach of their audience worldwide.
 
Audio Playground is known to use the abbreviation and letters "AP" as well as their signature audio slogan "AP Let's go!" in their graphics, imagery and most of their vocal recordings.
 
Their debut single "(A Little) Respect" was a remake of British synthpop duo Erasure. Its EP included several versions including a mainstream radio-friendly ballad: It topped the Canadian charts for several weeks. The same formula was followed for their next hit titled "Shadows" which peaked at #77 on the USA Billboard digital song sales charts and got the band a new fanbase in Europe.
 
In September 2011, Audio Playground released "Famous" featuring Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall. The single was cerified Canadian gold in June 2012; it peaked at #10 on the USA Billboard dance charts.
 
In October 2012, the hit "Emergency", a collaboration featuring Snoop Dogg was released peaking at #31 at top40 airplay in Canada. In the United States, "Emergency" reached #56 on the chr/top40 airplay charts and #13 on the US Billboard dance charts .
