Welcome to my first SoundCloud upload!

This track was inspired by the rest that I find in Christ. The personal time spent with the Lord in the Scriptures and in prayer before I start my days can be described in so many ways. However, here are some words that are relevant to my experience recording this piece; monotonous, challenging, sweet... Joyful. Restful. It is crazy to me that amidst so much chaos these days, I experience this range of emotions in time spent with God. As the days go on, I am convinced more and more that Jesus is the only hope and rest that the world has. My aim is to impart, if possible, a fraction of the peace and joy of God to you through this music.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Perhaps you desire to share that peace with others, too? Free Rain International is a non-profit organization that is working to end human trafficking and exploitation by educating survivors and equipping fighters. I recently took an online course that they offer, and it helped me only scratch the surface in understanding the realities of this injustice. I learned that it is not only a global issue, but it is something that can happen in our own communities.
