I started DJ'ing back in 1992 at various warehouse parties, raves and then into clubs and residencies. I played as DJ Eden from 1992 to about 1997, and most of my old skool stuff is under that name. I was resident at the very successful "Liquid" based in North Sydney for a few years, and also did our own show with Ian and Dan called "Positive Feedback" on Sydney's 99.3 FM (New Wave). I also recorded the 12 hours of music that would be used as the rotating Test Transmission for 99.3FM for a few months before they started proper transmission.

I then joined forces doing some of the first regular back to back gigs with my good mate Ian, and we played out as Brothers of Sound (BOS), including a long residency at Sounds on Sunday, and regular clubs nights throughout Sydney from 1997 to about 2006. We still play the occasional set together as BOS.

Hi, i'm Dave, from Coventry, and i started djing way back in 1990, while still at school, inspired by legends Sasha and Carl Cox after listening to sets, given to me from older friends!

 I spent a lot of my time during the early 90's at the legendary club Eclipse, in Coventry, where i met lots of fantastic people including some of the finest dj's around at the time, doing a couple of sets in Marco Polo, Birmingham. I also ventured across the midlands, clubbing wise, to places including Shelleys, Institute and Coast 2 Coast.

 After 5 years, i fell out of love with the scene, seeing as it was changing and not to my liking, to be honest and in 1995 i gave up raving and djing. Kept my vinyl, though, just in case!!

 Got back into it in 2006 after listening to online radio playing a lot of oldskool, and thought i'd give it another go. Not had the confidence to play out again, since but you never know.....

Home of my own mixes - from eclectic sample-digging, breaks and hip-hop through to techno/electronica and plenty of jungle/dnb/hardcore/160, old and new. Essentially, whatever I'm feeling at the time. 

Pre-2001, all mixes vinyl; Post-2016, all mixes digital (DJay 2); Post-2018, Ableton Live. Why? 
I've got an old skool DJ's mentality, early influences ranging from Sublove, Ratty, Randall & Hype to Coldcut, DJ Juice, MK & Primo.  In the early 00s I turned my back on D&B, retired my turntables in favour of family/work commitments, and got into funk, soul, reggae and so on... a lot of this driven by curiosity around the sample roots of hardcore and jungle.  Forward another decade and an early mid-life crisis saw me messing around with virtual decks on my phone, and later acquiring a vinyl ripper, with one vision in mind: making mixes.
Although I'm partial to the odd DJay or vinyl mix when I get the chance, the progression into Ableton Live was a simple means to an end.  My ideas stretch further than the limitations of my physical collection and real-time mixing, and by sequencing I can pick, choose, chip away and structure mixes at my leisure. Which I do... a lot :)

Wait, there's more ... my page also hosts an absolute stack of classic golden era/old skool hip-hop/turntablism, jungle and d&b, hardcore, techno and house mixes retrieved from my dusty tape & CD archives.  This includes (by my reckoning) the most exhaustive collections of classic Full Cycle and Sublove Galaxy Radio shows, live Ruffneck Ting jungle tapes, loads of studio & compilation mixes, all manner of rave tapes, and so on.

I'm Record collector / bedroom DJ from New Jersey, USA.  I'm a Devoted Junglist but not a Vorta clone who bows to the founders.  I've been listening to 'Ardkore jungle since 1993 but didn't start collecting till 1994.

I bought the "pro" subscription for a year just to get my older mixes out there as so many "fans" have complained they don't like downloading my stuff on house-mixes.
