Tselane Seleke also known as DJ Mopapa was born in a township called Tigane near Klerksdorp. He grew up listening to music because it is interest. DJ Mopapa started school in Bakang Primary and then he went to Gaenthone secondary to complete his matric. He developed a relationship with house music when he was at grade 10 in 2005. He finished matric in 2007 and he enrolled at the University of North West(Mafikeng Campus) in 2008. He then started to compose his own music at the age of 19, using those music production softwares like Magic music maker and Fruity Loops. He then started to make people dance at tarvens and clubs in 2011 when he decided to be a DJ. Being a DJ made him to improve his music creativity.

DJ Mopapa started DJing at Varenda Inn tarven at his township with Mr DIDA, MAVUSANA 3, VINTAGE, SPARE, BENNY and others, then he moved to Berens Tarven in Mafikeng where he became a resident DJ. In 2012 he then moved back to his kassy Tips(that's the way he calls it) where he met with DJ Hunter, SAMMY, and BUJO, who were the resident DJs at Mashome Club48. He then played in few bashes that were held at his township which one of them was Batle Of The DJs.

In February 2013, DJ Mopapa had an interview at STAR FM community radio station in Klerksdorp where he was publishing and promoting his works as a producer/composer. He then came back to Mafikeng and became a resident DJ at Ekhaya Lounge bar owned by the Maftown Legend DJ KT(Katlego Tobosi).

DJ Mopapa, as the fans and crowds knows him, he then met with Uncle-T(also ekhaya resident) and they both worked out to make a hit track called "Piano In Lounge" at Oktive record company owned by DJ KT.

DJ Mopapa shared stage with the likes of DJ KT, FLAVA, UNCLE-T, HUNTER, BABY-G, SOULFUL APOLOS, SAMMY BOY, SPARE, QUINTON P, VINTAGE, MBAX, BENNY T, ELMATHMETICS, STATIC DJ, and others.His mixtapes played at NWUFM Campus radio 105.5 and NWFM. Tselane Ben Seleke is a DJ/Producer from North West, Hartbeesfontein. He started being a producer when he was 18 y o inspired by the legends of South African Entertainment, Producers and djs. He then joined 659 Records of well known artists like Cool Affair, Cilongo, Hypnotic Soul and many other artists under the owner DJ Spin. He then released his 1st EP called "Book Of House Music" in 2013, later in 2014 He released two EPs "The Elevation" and :Sweetest Thing". DJ Mopapa got signed with a distributor Nerd Inc. in 2014 and released his 4th EP "Soul Study" which featured the likes of Blackdot (the rapper) and Uncle-T. He then spent some few months working on his production until he got in touch with the popular international vocalist Darian Crouse and worked with him to make a single called "Never Give Up", which will be released in 2015 including remixers by Cilongo, DeepaTraxion, Black Bull, SK95 and other artists

BIOGRAPHY


Mystical Plants is an up and coming electro-funk band from Hungary.They were grounded 2000 as a duo(Béla Balázs :bass player,songwriter and producer and István Munkácsi: guitarist). Their admiration for modern jazz and funk sounds was the starting point, which  combined their unique, tension-free, easygoing music. "Use your head"  was  the first release at Chameleon Records among many other international compilation-cd's. They continued as a trio when Bryant Goodman(vocals) joined the mystical forces. They smooth funk sound combined together with  neo-soul and electric jazz vibes gives a familiar but recognizable sound which one can identify with. The first single "new world order" was played by radios and released on other compilations and the second single "head in the clouds" came out on 2 jazz compilation cd-s in 2011. They realized that the time to get a bigger popularity and pass their music to more and more people. so they started to build their live show with 2 other hungarian musicians(Róbert Rátkai: drums and Péter Nagy: Keyboards). With the new formation the band became frequent airplay by  radio stations in Hungary, which has given a big kick start to  their new album called "Good Life". While  making the songs together their style has been given a fresh new funked up face what is easily discoverable in the new material. It's more energetic and vivid with a lots of disco and old school funk vibes what is blended with wicked synth sounds and of course Bryant's fat and smooth vocals. The album features a new hot tune ("love criminals") that features Judie Jay,a hidden vocal jewel from Budapest,Hungary. So as expected this is definitely a mystical music!!! A Mystical Plants egy feltörekvő electronikus elemekkel tűzdelt funky-t játszó zenekar Nyíregyházáról,akik már az ezredforduló környékén aktívak voltak,igaz ekkor még csak duó-ként működtek(Balázs Béla: basszus gitáros,zenei producer és Munkácsi István: gitáros).Mindketten bolondultak az akkoriban underground körökben nagy popularitásnak örvendő acid jazz,funk és nu disco zenékért és azok merész és lüktető hangzásáért.Talán ez volt a táptalaja laza és minden görcstől mentes zenéjüknek amit első lemezük a "use your head" piacra dobása bizonyított a legjobban.Az anyag a Chameleon Records gondozásában jelent meg.Mindez 2006-ban történt amit számos hazai és külföldi válogatás-lemez megjelenés és temérdek pozitív visszhang követett.
2009-ben trióvá alakultak miután találkoztak egy kiadói bulin Bryant Goodman-nel a lehengerlő orgánumu kaliforniai származású énekessel aki egy új fejezetet indított el a csapat életében.Zenei jelenléte nem átformálta csupán egy érettebb,bátrabb és letisztúltabb irányba terelte zenéjük stílusát,ami egyre jobban közeledett valami a soult,bluest és a funk gyökereket elektronikával vegyítő stílus-maszlag felé amit ők leegyszerűsítve electro-funk-nak hívnak.Hamar meg is jelent a közösen írt lemez "The Harvest" címmel rajta a rádiók által is játszott "New world order"-el és a hip-hop és acid-jazz válogatásokon is megjelent "Head in the clouds"-al,amit a rapper:Mr.Bps-el vettek fel 2011-ben.Ezen felbuzdúlva és felismerve azt hogy nagyobb ismertségre van szükségük és hohy még több emberhez szeretnék eljuttatni zenéjüket el is kezdték felépíteni saját koncert-műsorukat,amiben 2 remek zenészbarátjuk(Rátkai Róbert :dobos és Nagy Péter: billentyűs) segétkezett és teszi ezt a mai napig is.Így hogy az anno project-ként emlegetett duo már 5 tagu zenekarrá nőtte ki magát és mindenki ki vette a részét az újabb dalok megszülésében,hamar össze is állt egy -minden bizonnyal az eddigi leghatározottabb és leg pop-osabb- lemezanyag,ami nemes egyszerűséggel a "Good Life" nevet viseli,rajta olyan érdekességekkel mint példáúl a fantasztikus énektechnikával és hanggal megáldott Judie Jay-el közösen rögzített "Love Criminals" vagy a "Gimme Sum", ami már hallható a z MR2 Petőfi Rádión
