Amps is a Japanese DJ and composer, He started his career in 2008 and joined Japanese indie label TREKKIE TRAX in 2014. His productions have been featured in the U.S. music media such as "Thump" and "Rolling Stone". 
He has emerged as a tech house producer since 2022, with strong jazz and tribal music influences.
His music has been supported by Skream, Blackchild (ITA), YOUniverse, Daniel Orpi, And Hazel and more. He is steadily gaining recognition as an artist in the Tech House scene.

群馬在住のDJ／トラックメーカー。 UKクラブミュージックをルーツとしTrip HopやDrum’n Bass,Dubstepを愛聴する高校時代を経て卒業と共にDJ活動を開始。その後、高崎WOALを拠点に多くのHouseやDiscoを吸収し音楽性を拡大。クラブだけに留まらない数多くのフィールドで築いたDJスタイルは年代、ジャンルを問わずフロアに専心する事を信条とし各方面から高い信頼を得ている。
トラックメイクでは2014年TREKKIE TRAXよりAcid､Bass､Industrialをコンセプトとした1st EP「Bleak Vibe」を発表。その後、JukeやJungleなどの高速ビートをも取り入れ独自のサウンドを構築。80Kidzへのリミックス提供やフィンランドの老舗レーベル『Top Billin』からも楽曲をリリース。また英国国営放送『BBC Radio1』へのMix提供や米国大手音楽メディアである『Thump』『Rolling Stone』に楽曲が取り上げられるなど国外での評価も着実に獲得している。
