We've prepared a very special mix prior to our 6th anniversary celebration! Sponsored by Aldir Blanc, this mixtape was recorded by our labelhead @ivpalmer, it exclusively contains tracks only by Brazilian artists, released by us in these past 6 years. Between old hits and fresh tunes, the mix takes you on a journey that translates Tropical Twista steps until today. Brazil's situation in 2021 is very delicate, and as always, the artists are among those who suffer more. We hope to bring more visibility and support for our artists, represented in this mixtape. Ivreatronic is proud to present "Incantesimo”, the latest single by Mondocane, a downtempo groover designed to highlight the extraordinary voice of Gabriella Ferri, a popular and legendary Roman singer. The result is a mix of ancestral energy and charm that embodies the popular spirit of Italy. This song is the line that divides darkness from light, two worlds that touch themselves  and move on the rhythm of a pained and ancestral dance.

The single features two remixes, both stemming from the collaboration between Andrea Cota and Tropicantesimo, a collective from Rome.
One remix is by Front de Cadeaux, a duo comprising Dj Athome and Hugo Sanchez, an active member of the Roman collective, while the other one is by Fabio Fabio, another duo hailing from Ivrea. Mondocane met Dj Foresta (half of Fabio Fabio duo), during an event at the Fanfulla club in Rome, where the dj was playing. The connection between the two was immediate, instantly leading to a live performance together with Andrea’s live synthesizer improvisations on his DJ set.

Der Meereswind lässt uns die Nase und Ohren kalt werden und uns tiefer in die Kojen und unter die Decken schlüpfen. Das haben wir nun davon, dass wir vor gut 3 Monaten  mit unseren Freunden von https://soundcloud.com/serafinaudio dem Wind nach jagten https://soundcloud.com/serafinaudio/serafin-sinfonia-op10-rolandson-chasing-the-wind . Gut, wir haben ihn erfolgreich eingefangen und er strafft fleißig unsere Segel, doch die Gischt schäumt so dermaßen und die Wellen peitschen so energisch gegen den Bug, das man denken könnte, Poseidon schwingt ne kräftige Rede. Euer Käpt’n nennt sowas »Gute Fahrt voraus« und hat seinen Spaß. Doch es verwundert ihn auch nicht, dass die Einen gerne nach Hause wollen, während die Anderen eher neugierig auf neue Abenteuer aus sind. Nun, euer Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson sieht das ganz entspannt, denn bis jetzt hat er immer noch dafür gesorgt, dass alle das bekommen was sie möchten.
 
Also, schauen wir mal in ins Tondöschen und lassen mit dem dampfenden Pfeifenkraut der Halblinge die (Sound-) Wolke durch die Kajüte schweben. Der neue Vorraucherwicht an Bord nennt sich http://soundcloud.com/iorie und paffte schon im Sommer mit uns, auf dem SimSalaBoom Festival, fleißig einen weg. Seitdem stopft er mitnichten nur die Pfeife und lässt über das Serafin Audio Imprint gar wundervolle Veröffentlichungen in die Wolke schweben. Klar, das er da auch was für uns zurecht stopfen muss, denn sonst wird das nichts, mit de Schifffahrt und so. Passt aber im Grunde auch ganz gut, denn das Meer bedeutet für ihn immer auch einen Ort der Zuflucht, des Weitblicks und der Endlosigkeit, so dass er bei uns an Bord locker seinen Sehnsüchten nachgehen kann. Und so ist der Weisheit vorletztes Seemannsgarn, dass das Meer oft überquert werden muss, um einen neuen Ort zu erreichen. Und um diesen geht es auch in seinem Mix und er erreicht ihn, indem er während der Überfahrt den Sound abmischt und hin und wieder die Pfeife mit eurem Käpt’n raucht. »Ich hab in diesem Set meine alten Platten, mit allen ihren Erinnerungen, auf die Teller gelegt und sie in das neue Gewand des Slowmo gekleidet - auf diese Weise nehme ich sie mit in meine neue Musikalische Heimat. Die Tracklist wird auch weniger Trackname und Artist werden, als das wie ich die Platte in Erinnerung behalten habe und ihre Geschichte.« 

Aye, und jetzt Lauscher auf und viel Spaß gewünscht!
