Sol Selectas welcomes back Zurich’s Canson to the label, with his Nothing To Guide EP, featuring a remix from Ninze. Canson’s music creates a field of romance in the listeners' minds. Nothing to Guide Ep refers to when we seek out an imaginary place, but often have no map leading our way. That's when the music steps in, and becomes our compass, guiding us to the destination. Canson has a unique ability to transform traditional sounds and make them his own, drawing inspiration from many different cultures, and joining them in a harmonious, soothing way. “Humming Dunes” brings us sounds from the deserts of Persia all the way to mountains in Machu Picchu, Peru, while “Kolumbus” takes us on a sonic trip from the rain forests of India, to the sunny coastlines of the Mediterranean Sea. Germany's Ninze makes his debut on Sol Selectas, with his signature downbeat style, transforming “Kolumbus” into a hypnotic adventure, with swirling arpeggios and deep pads over organic percussion. The cover art by Helia Jamali portrays the mystical romantic journey of our minds.

Mina became a mom lately, so it was a natural step for her to start to make a full length album that relax the senses and fill up the space around her with peace, harmony and stillness...
Being also a producer and singer, surrounded by a Serbian family of well-known musicians (Bojan her husband as Ascent, Branko her brother-in-law as Argus and of course Gradimir, her father-in-law as Norma Project), she has the privilege to do a lot of collaborations and to craft a lot of amazing electronic music at the family studios.

So today Mina is inviting us into her own world of light and revelations.

About the EP-*
In astronomy, a new moon marks the first lunar phase. The original meaning of the term is the first visible crescent of the moon, which is briefly visible when it's low above the western horizon just after the sun has gone down. As a new moon represents the start of a new lunar cycle, it symbolises new beginnings. People use the energy of a new moon to achieve their goals or start on a new project. They also reflect on their old goals and set themselves new ones.
Rituals associated - Some like to harness the energy of the new moon in order to fulfil their visions. One way you can do this is by lighting a candle or some incense in a quiet space where you can relax. Write down what you want from life and focus on these goals while the new moon is in the sky. Others will create an altar with sacred objects such as pictures, stones and crystals, and take a ritual bath with sea salt to clear them of any negative energies beforehand.
