"Stand With Us" is our prayer of solidarity & support for the Lakota Sioux Nation, & all the water protectors who have converged in North Dakota at Standing Rock Reservation to support the Dakota Access Pipeline resistance efforts. 

This is the first time in centuries that all the indigenous nations of Turtle Island (America) have come together in unity & guardianship for our Earth. 

This unprecedented tribal convergence has been catalyzed by the pipeline, but is representative of something much larger & more profound than a protest. 

"Stand With Us" features the prayers of Yona FrenchHawk, one of the few remaining full-blooded Cherokee (Tsalagi) people who fluently speak their native tongue, and a part of the Cherokee Bird Clan. 

We recorded his prayer in front of a bowl of water containing drops of water from over 400 different sacred sites where he has performed ceremony to honor the waters of life. 

May this song and prayer illuminate the magnificence and significance of this movement in the hearts of all beings. May it offer strength and solidarity to the souls of all who are standing up in this way to protect our beloved Earth Mother.

Hey everyone, this week I have something very special for you.  It’s a Deep Dish set from Pacha Ibiza last year, where Dubfire and I played for the 20th anniversary of Deep Dish at Pacha.  The night was hosted by Hot Since 82’s Labyrinth residency and we had an amazing time.  If you don’t know, we are reuniting this month for both weekends of Coachella and a special open to close set at Sound in Los Angeles.  I hope to see you there. Freshness, groove and love of the electronic music. Carlos Chavez is a Canary Islands DJ with more than 12 years of career and more than 20.000 mensual listeners in Soundcloud. He is DJ resident of Papagayo Beach club, the best club in Tenerife and the most recognized club of Canary Islands. There, Carlos has been playing music in his native island and positioning himself in the national scene for more than 10 years.

The music that Carlos plays is characterized by being fresh and dynamic. Carlos devises and executes his sessions for the creation of energetic atmospheres, and transports listeners to stimulating ambiences, where they can enjoy nightlife and the dance floor. He always leaves his distinctive mark as a DJ with his characteristic sound and polished technique and elegant and attractive taste.

In 2020, Carlos Chavez creates his own personal label Soleá, and currently has his own radio show on the renowned Balearica Music radio station. His recognition in the Canary Islands and in the national and international scenes is constantly growing.
