Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been DJing for over 20 years. His early influences were the U.S. west coast House scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 

More of Rory’s influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, DJ Ino, Seph, Steven Garcia, Schmoov and Crazy P....you can see it’s an eclectic bag. 

This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear Rory work a crowd in that individual and unique way that he has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. 

Rory has performed at some of the North East UK’s most prestigious and loved venues over the years, joints such as Stereo Bar, Tokyo Bar, To The Manor Born, The Loveboat, The Purple Onion, Cosmic Ballroom, Distrikt Bar & The Faversham down in Leeds to name a few.

His passion for Deep House music makes his sound very current. Rory is now running quality labels such as Deep Site Digital & Deep Site Vinylized along with Croatian DJ/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom). Rory is also working on some interesting production projects of his own, which have meant remixes and a sweet original track with vocalist Sanna Hartfield 'Focus' on Addex’ label Limitation Music. Other remixes also on labels Oh! Stockholm, Deep Stitched..South Africa, The Purr Music, Sound Vessel Records, Be Adult Music, Personal Belongings, UM Records as well as Deep Site

Over the last few years he has played internationally in Croatia, South Africa, Ibiza, Prague and Sao Paulo, Brazil where Rory performed at world famous club 'D-Edge' club  for FREAK CHIC...and more recently back from Barcelona where he performed at the legendary Puro Beach and Tulum Mexico, where he opened Lost Tribes @ Vagalume as well as warming the dance floor for international artist ‘Los Cabra' @ Aguva Rooftop.

Freshness, groove and love of the electronic music. Carlos Chavez is a Canary Islands DJ with more than 12 years of career and more than 20.000 mensual listeners in Soundcloud. He is DJ resident of Papagayo Beach club, the best club in Tenerife and the most recognized club of Canary Islands. There, Carlos has been playing music in his native island and positioning himself in the national scene for more than 10 years.

The music that Carlos plays is characterized by being fresh and dynamic. Carlos devises and executes his sessions for the creation of energetic atmospheres, and transports listeners to stimulating ambiences, where they can enjoy nightlife and the dance floor. He always leaves his distinctive mark as a DJ with his characteristic sound and polished technique and elegant and attractive taste.

In 2020, Carlos Chavez creates his own personal label Soleá, and currently has his own radio show on the renowned Balearica Music radio station. His recognition in the Canary Islands and in the national and international scenes is constantly growing. With his wide range of experience and his refined technique, in his sessions Carlos Chavez invites us to listen to suggestive melodies and sounds, to get carried away by paradisiacal atmospheres and to enjoy nightlife.
