Chad Lucas has always been a multi-talented individual… But as far as music goes he’s all about that TECH HOUSE; And with humble roots dating back to the ‘streets’ of Surrey, BC, you know it’s gonna be DIRTY. 

Starting off in Vancouver a decade ago, and a tech-savvy dude from the outset; his thirst for knowledge and desire to learn have always been quintessential proponents of his environment. With an Opera Singer and Piano Teacher for a Grandmother; Chad was able to excel in the performing arts quickly; initially as an Actor, Freestyle Rapper, and Dancer. Over time that passion became solely directed toward electronic music going back to the late 90’s.

As a purveyor of 90’s hip hop Chad’s core sound is very apparent, providing a signature sound that transcends dance floors through his carefully curated sets. With inspiration derived from OG jackin house, Chad’s tech-heavy sets infuse the right mix of bouncy, low-end percussion with proper vocals and an infectious groove, consistently leaving dance floors of all sizes demanding more.

Fresh off a rigorous Western Canada festival tour in the Summer of ’22 that saw Chad play sets into double digits in BC and AB; He’s comin’ in HOT! With an impressive resume of past shows, including multiple residencies in both Vancouver and Edmonton over the years; Chad is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Western Canada.

One of the true pioneers of the Northwest scene, Miles Airon sustains a genuine presence with over two decades of experience on the decks. Ranging trough Tech House, Deep Tech, Deep House, Techno, Garage, Future Bass, Footwork, Drum & Bass, Soul, Hip- !.!lHop and some Trap on occasion, Miles doesn’t allow one genre to define his style. Rather, it evolves staying fresh and current as sonic tastes change. Performing and collaborating with Gaia Tribe, Tropical House LA, Northwest House Music Conference, Symbiosis Eclipse, Lightning in a Bottle and various other production entities, Miles Airon has been a pinnacle player in the scene and continues to broaden his involvement in the industry. 

Putting the dance floor in motion since 1996, the “Preacher Man”, as some of his friends call him, continues to create interactive moments of connection within each listener, synchronizing the dance floor. As a performer, he understands the deeper meaning behind music and brings this awareness to his sets. From the driving peak hour, to lush and deep sunrise sets, Miles always selects the right vibe for the occasion. Wearin’ black clothes and bustin’ mad flows, YEG-based J-Sound brings that bass to the DnB faithful.
After winning Western Canada’s biggest DJ competition — the Pioneer Mix Master Battle — in 2010, he’s opened for dozens of top 100 DJs and dished out his signature sound to thousands.
A mainstay at The Womp festival, as well as part of NABDnB, he’s also a substitute teacher at Sunday School, lending light to the darkness with pulse-pounding drum and bass.
Drawing off influences ranging from k motionz and phibes to culture shock, J-Sound shares his creative light through music, dance and laughter, producing an ear-pleasing mix of dark, heavy and dangerous.
