I had an incredible opportunity to perform for an amazing crowd once again. True to its name, the experience was surreal. My admiration for Frida Kahlo knows no bounds, and I kicked off my set with her very first and last recorded, own voice.

Bio:

Ebru Al, originally hailing from Turkey and now based in London, began her journey into dance music in 1993. Starting out in a home studio in North London, she immersed herself in the raw sounds of old school acid house. By 2010, her passion evolved into a professional DJ career, captivating underground scenes with her electrifying sets of high-energy techno, progressive beats, and full-on psy trance across London, South Africa, and Europe.

Her career highlights include unforgettable performances on the main stages of world-renowned festivals such as Ozora in Hungary, Universo Paralello in Brazil, Tribal Gathering in Panama, and Boomtown Fair in the UK. Ebru has also held residencies at Psy-Boutique and Ayata Festivals in Turkey, solidifying her place in the global music scene.

As the first female DJ and producer signed to Green Tree Records, Ebru made her mark with her debut production, ‘Illuminate’, which shot to the top of Beatport’s Psy Trance charts. This release is just the beginning of her creative ventures as she continues to push boundaries in her musical journey.

Recently, Ebru joined the international roster at DoubSquare Records, further expanding her global influence.

Whether spinning dark, gritty techno or deep, driving psy trance, Ebru Al’s sound resonates with the raw energy of underground warehouse raves, yet retains the elegance and precision fit for the most sophisticated club stages.
