AUX records gave me the opportunity to remix a track from their back cat and, on johnny's recomendation, the only option was this tune from neurodriver.

i have been a fan of everything neurodriver has done for a long time now (since the far too loud days) and i appreciate what Dom has given us in creating an outlet for the "psy" breaks vibe that we are all so passionate about.

soooooo, on that tip. i wanted to make a tune that was a little left of centre, out of respect from dom,  and link in to that detailed tech vibe that neurodriver does so well.... this is what came out. its my first finished minimal tune and i learnt a lot working on this one so i hope it works! 

 big ups AUX and big ups Neurodriver and most importantly... big ups MUSIC :D

Psybreaks/Tech-Funk (representing Runnymede Eco-Village), I'll enter this for now because living in a forest makes it quite difficult to record new mixes especially when the equipment used doesn't include the feature, whoever designed it is an absolute whopper.

Recorded on virtual DJ, performed on pioneer ddj-sb /w serato DJ intro (I can use traktor & traktor kontrol s2 which is my preferred set up if anyone knows how to repair an s2 me love you long time.)

G'day everyone!

This is my latest release forthcoming on Yellowfinger Communications. It is with great pleasure that I can now share with you my second remix to be released. The original track is by a guy who goes by the name of "Toefinger", who has some solid releases on VIM Records and Yellowfinger.

When I made this remix I was very much inspired by the old tech funk sound of Rogue Element, Koma & Bones, Alex Metric to name a few and I wanted to produce something a bit more uplifting and funkier as a direct contrast to the original. I also wanted to incorporate some of the layered bass techniques I used in my dnb production to give it a real raw and chunky sound and this is what I came up with.

This one is coming out on June 13th on Yellowfinger. It will be out exclusively on Beatport for 2 weeks before making it's way to other music download stores.
