JAY BEE his love for music started in his high school years when he was still breakdancing. After buying a set of Technics, he started digging vinyl crates for unique Soul, Funk and Old-school Hip-Hop records.

His style is mainly an eclectic mix of Old to the New Urban music, covering genres like R&B, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Future & Afro-Beats. Nevertheless, JAY BEE does not shy away from dipping his feet into different genres other than those that he is specialized in. 

After being recognized for his distinctive musical selections, he started getting booked at various big clubs and festivals throughout The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Indonesia.

Currently based in Jakarta, JAY BEE is rockin’ all stages across the Indonesian nightlife scene. In his new hometown, Jakarta, he holds multiple (semi) residencies and can be spotted behind the 1's and 2's regularly at venues like Jenja, Leon, Basque, Fable and many more. 

In addition to club gigs, he also performed many shows for Art Exhibitions, Fashion events and Grand Openings such as Martell, Hublot, and Antony Morato. Furthermore, JAY BEE is the co-founder & head organizer of Jakarta's Hottest Urban Night, The Take Over.
