Regularly performing at the legendary Band on the Wall parties and spending over 20 years behind the counter at Eastern Bloc Records, Jim is a true digger with a deep knowledge of dubplates and dancefloor gems. His versatility as a DJ is second to none. We're honoured to welcome him to the SUNANDBASS Podcast with a mix full of classics and tracks that inspire him, sounds that connect deeply with the spirit of SAB.

"Eastern Bloc Records is a hugely popular and highly influential, independent dance record store has been open since 1985, making it the longest-running shop of its kind in Manchester City Centre. They are a dance music specialist catering for house, breaks, techno, dubstep and drum and bass from accessible to underground.

The 6 Mix is the new flagship mix on BBC Radio 6 Music, curated by Mary Anne Hobbs.

Each week, Mary Anne Hobbs will introduce a one-hour mix from a past, present or future icon of electronic music - artists, DJs, labels, and clubs.
