Julez, originally known as AmethystRayne, has been behind the decks for 6+ years; originally a die hard breakbeat lover she has dove head first into house (deep/progressive, tech, and acid), minimal/melodic techno, DnB, and dabbling a little in psytrance as well.
Her goal is to use her 11+ years in the local DMV music scene to shed light and expose areas of electronic dance music that her generation typically wouldn't be exposed to and keep the underground vibe alive and thriving.

Julez has played many DMV venues including Clarendon Ballroom's Underground, Twelve After Twelve, Flash, Gramophone, Zeba Bar, Public Bar, Karma DC, The Depot, Graffiti Warehouse, Cafe 611, Ottobar, MusicBox Karaoke Bar, and has also Nightmare Festival 2021 while also sharing lineups with artists like DJ Craze, Reid Speed, DJ Icey, AK1200, LionDub, Fabio, Sébastien Legér, SpinScott, Crissy Criss, DJ Throdown, 9B49, Tonal Theory, Oliver Caine, Sweet Charlie, Misha, Proxxy&Lantern, and many, MANY others.

Just someone who has a love for Breaks (almost all breaks but specifically Florida and Louisiana Breaks and Vocal Breaks)...Electro...Trance...Drum&Bass...Dub (the original Dub that was around the Tampa scene from the 90's and early 2000's...not the new Dub that these kids think is the shit)...Trip-Hop...E-Hop...and a few others. Was HEAVILY involved (to put it lightly...no pun intended but pun intended) in the Tampa/Orlando scene from the late 80's thru around 2007 or so...until the scene changed or was forced to change...but this shit is in my blood!!! I guess like they say...Blood in...Blood out!!! Had an iconic and well known house in South Tampa that was called "The House On Stilts"...it was the only house in the subdivision that was up on stilts like a beach house. And if you were in the scene...odds are you've swung thru at some point for one or more of the parties...Lol!!! If so...hit me up and tell me about it...I love hearing the stories because MAN O' FUCKING MAN...THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! Best times of my life...and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat...I mean breakbeat!!!
