DJ MASA is a Drum&Bass DJ and Producer based in Tokyo, Japan.
In 2014, DJ MASA won the championship of DJ battle competition held in OUTLOOK FESTIVAL's Japan launch party, "ROAD TO OUTLOOK JP 2014 CONTEST", and proved his excellent and deep comprehension of sound systems and great sense of music selection in front of headliners such as Dub Phizix & Strategy, Dillinja, Author, Royal-T, and P Money.
For the activities as a producer, DJ MASA released "Pulse Code" from JP Drum&Bass label Kaizan Records in April 2016. In May 2017, His first EP "MOONLIGHT EP"was released on Subdued Records.

Firing up the bassbins and hitting you hard with a dose of raggamuffin junglist energy is what Ed Solo is all about. From Glastonbury to Canada's Shambhala, from dirty Brixton back rooms to Spanish arenas, Ed has travelled the globe throwing down his unique brand of ruffneck bassline bravado for more than a decade. 

Ed's knack for the rudest of hooks is equalled only by his sublime studio skills. He cut his teeth in the mid '90s engineering at the notorious SOUR Records studios, going on to lay down a series of groundbreaking collaborations with jungle kingpin DJ Brockie. In 2007 Ed released ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ alongside Skool of Thought, featuring ‘When I Was A Yout’ and ‘We Play The Music’ among others. A 10th anniversary remix package drops in 2017.

Ed’s partnership with Jungle Cakes partner in crime Deekline has thrown up some of the most memorable tunes of the decade. The pair recently mixed the chart-topping 5th edition of their Welcome to the Jungle series.

A band that brings the funk to d&b! In their music, they blend funky melodies and heavy basslines with live instruments, creating a vibey cocktail best served at dancefloors. Having established themselves on the scene with releases on labels such as Soul Deep or Liquid Boppers, they eventually found a home as part of legendary V Recordings family, cherry-picked by bossman Bryan Gee as one of the new-school aliases for Liquid V. Bryan himself supports their infectious sound in most of his sets & podcasts, but you can also hear their tunes rinsed in sets of upfront DJs like Marky, Jumpin’ Jack Frost, Rene LaVice, Command Strange, BCee etc.
They perform as a DJ act accompanied by horns (sax+trumpet) and usually don’t stay within just liquid funk but go for a blend of all funky subgenres of dnb. At times, they even stretch their musical wings outside the dnb realm, blending a myriad of musical influences that all drum and bass aficionados and connoisseurs of fine music can appreciate, as they remain moving on the dancefloor during their sets.

“ Hangover “is a Tokyo-based drum and bass collective, consists of Ken, Shige, Satoshi, and designer Ryogo. The concept behind 'Hangover' is to spread ever evolving futuristic sound of drum and bass throughout Japan and beyond.
Some of well respected artists such as Mayhem, Loxy, Dom&Roland, Klute, The Upbeats, Ant TC1, Bulletproof, Evol Intent have played at their event in the past. 'Hangover' is definitely one to watch out in Tokyo drum and bass scene.
