Layma Jakin started spinning records in the mid-90s; by the age of 16, she was already playing at parties and raves across her home in Cádiz, influenced by the rising UK breaks and US breakbeat scenes that were beginning to resonate strongly in the south of Spain. After a season in Atlanta, where she first connected with turntables and funk, her sound began to take shape. She spent over a decade in Madrid, immersing herself in electro and techno, and honing a solid technique: three decks, melodies, grooves, and scratch as her signature. Now based in Mallorca, she has performed at events like Tramuntana Festival and Diskette Dance Format. Her sets are powerful and dynamic, blending old school, techno, trance, electro, and acid breaks, always mixed with own style and southern soul.

@laymajakin comienza a pinchar discos a mediados de los 90; a los 16 años ya pisaba cabinas y raves de su Cádiz natal, influenciada por la escena UK breaks y US breakbeat, que empezaba a sonar con fuerza en el sur. Descripción
Travanka es un reciente proyecto del joven zamorano Óscar Trabanca dentro del mundo de la música electrónica como productor. Comenzó en esto en 2011 y sigue activo a día de hoy y con mucha fuerza. 

Sus shows se caracterizan por una gran amplitud de géneros que hacen reventar las pistas de baile, desde Electro House, pasando por Dirty Dutch, Techno, Dubstep, y los estilos emergentes más actuales, una elegante y enérgica puesta en escena que conecta con el público, También tiene proyectos secundarios con otros músicos, como por ejemplo el show que complementa con Miguel Vidal a la batería.

Actualmente residente en Zamora ha hecho fiestas en los famosos locales de esta ciudad y a la espera de moverse a otras ciudades.

Biography (Language: Germany):
1982 in Brandenburg geboren, entdecke er seine vorliebe für Musik schon sehr früh. Als er dann 1989 nach Rödermark zog, hatte er die Möglichkeit sich an den verschiedensten Musikinstrumenten zu üben. Schnell merkte er, dass er ein gutes Gespür für Rhythmus hat, daher begann er Schlagzeug zu spielen. Doch auch das reichte ihm nicht.

Im Jahre 2000 kam es dann wie es kommen musste, er betrat durch einen Zufall eine nahe gelegene Großraumdiskothek. Er hatte vorher noch nie richtigen Kontakt mit dieser art von Musik gehabt, doch sie faszinierte ihn von Anfang an. Die Klänge die Bass Schläge waren neu doch gleichzeitig fühlte er, dass er genau das die ganze Zeit gesucht hatte. Er sah dem DJ die ganze Nacht zu und als die Nacht vorbei ging wusste er was er machen wollte. Schnell wurde das Schlagzeug gegen zwei Plattenspieler und ein Mischpult getauscht und Steve LaMarque geboren.

Zunächst legte er auf kleinen Partys auf, aber schnell merkt er, dass Ihm immer noch etwas in der Musik fehlte. Er suchte nach etwas ganz besonderem, fand es aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht, so zog er sich 2005 zurück und legte eine kleine Pause ein.

2009 war es dann soweit, er hatte das gefunden was Ihm gefehlt hatte, und er entdeckte das auflegen für sich neu. Die Musik hatte jetzt das gewisse etwas, was er vermisste und das neue Zeitalter des Digitalen deejaying eröffneten Ihm neue Möglichkeiten "mit" Musik zu spielen.

Selbst heute nach 11 Jahren DJ Erfahrung, Arbeitet er weiter kreativ/perfektionistisch an seinem Stil und Experimentiert gerne mit neuen Möglichkeiten an seinen Sets.
