Presenting a live improvised performance from the Argentinian producer and multi-instrumental live looper, Janax Pacha. Spearheaded by Gabriel Epstein, the Janax Pacha project sits at the crossroads of acoustic and electronic expression, utilising instruments such as Native flutes, kalimbas, didgeridoo, percussion, and effect racks. The resulting tribal downtempo sound is inspired as much from dub and ambient music, as it is by ancestral indigenous music of Latin America, building layers upon layers of sound, and compounding numerous centuries of culture into one experience.

I couldn't have imagined a more dreamy European Apukuna debut than this night here! A few hundred beautiful beings welcomed in the evening and became a part of my dream. The night offered some valuable wisdom on just how DEEP a dancefloor can go when the people who show up are holding the space with abounding hearts, clear intentions, and immense impeccability. For more than half of the two-hour set, the radical love dancers held their attention and focus into the center of the dancefloor. Everyone became a facilitator. This was Radical Love at its finest. And with that focus, something deep was generated in the middle. Pure magic! Offered to you as a meditation, a movement, and a prayer for an awakening heart.  - @Apukuna

The Ecstatic Dance space holder called me on the phone, a minute before I stepped into my car,
 and she told me - " The cease fire is over and they are firing missiles at Israel again. I'm not sure if we should dance today, I'm thinking about cancelling. "
I told her - No way.
I'm feeling the medicine of this journey in me since yesterday, and especially now, with all of these emotions, we have to dance! Now more then ever.
A few minutes later she called again and said - Let's do it.
In the past few years I've had some kind of blockage about recording my sets.
With this one, the spirit told me - press record, and I'm so happy I did.
It was such a healing morning, a healing journey for us all.
I want to thank every one of you that is showing up, stepping up at this crazy time, and choosing to create a new reality on earth.
A reality of freedom, peace, love and unity.

This is a live recording of one of my favorite sets from the SunSet Cacao Dance's I played this season in Guatemala at Eagles Nest. The journey starts with a cacao ceremony and then begins with slower, spacious music. The energy builds slowly through the mix and peaks followed by a cool down towards the end as the energy comes back down. These sorts of sets are some of my favorites to play. This set also contains some of my unreleased tunes.

Considered one of the pioneers of electronic organic music, Intiche‘s journey, he claims, started even before travelling from Argentina to Berlin for the first time in 1999. Indeed, the celebrated DJ and producer proclaims his “passion for music began some past lives before this one”. Nevertheless, it’s in the last twenty years of this life that the downtempo DJ has made considerable impact.

From an acoustic starting point, Intiche’s compositions find inspiration in Pachamama (“Mother Earth”) and earthy frequencies. Using traditional instruments, native to Latin America, Intiche’s trance-like productions deftly traverse history, weaving links between ancient indigenous cultures and modern club culture. Intiche’s music intends to “touch the soul” as much as make people dance and, accordingly, you’re just as likely to find him playing at Berlin’s Berghain or Beate Uwe as at ceremonies, yoga festivals, healing gatherings and “Ecstatic Dances” around the world. We’re grateful to have Intiche drop in for a Con Alma Mixtape.
