Other People is a record label started in New York City in 2013 by Nicolás Jaar. In its 10 years of existence, it has featured the sonic work of over 70 music releases, highlights include Terepa (2015), a "telepathic" collaboration helmed by Kohei Matsunaga (aka NHK’Koyxen) featuring Rashad Becker, Charlotte Collin, Lucrecia Dalt, Laurel Halo, Julia Holter, Grégoire Simon and Kohei himself, Caves (2021), a compilation of silences featuring Laraaji, Aho Ssan, Ana Quiroga and more, Weavings (2022), a collaborative live piece with Juliana Huxtable, Ellen Fullman, Wukir Suryadi and Rully Shabara of Senyawa, Angel Bat Dawid and others. The label has also put out the 1990 spoken word piece "Conspiracy of Women" (2015) by Lydia Lunch, as well as Tomaga & Pierre Bastien's collaborative album entitled Bandiera di Carta (2019) and Lucrecia Dalt's Esotro / Veta release (2014) with remixes by William Basinski and John Wall. It has also featured the likes of Magdalena Dàugosz, Barbara Zawadzka, Bernadetta Matuszczak, Krzysztof Knittel, Bogusław Shaeffer, Saint Abdullah, Eomac, Dienne, Charbel Haber, Okokon, Against All Logic, FKA Twigs, Darkside, Nicolás Jaar and others.  It has featured the visual work of Maziyar Pahlevan, Africanus Okokon, Zofia Kulik, Jena Myung, Charbel Haber, Abeera Kamran and Somnath Bhatt among others. The label’s current contract states that an artist on the label owns all their rights and decides the full percentage of the revenue they wish to make from their releases on the label, after recoupment. Any of the label’s profit gets given out to artists in forms of grants, workshop and educational initiatives. The label has collaborated in this form with more than three dozen exceptional organizations and individuals in the past three years. Although the label works not-for-profit, it is not a registered non-profit.

Not only the music in general is important for us, also the way the artists present themselves. The whole "package" has to be professional. Martin and Shane were introduced through a friend a number of years ago and it is their shared passion for music that has led to many sleepless nights and morning train journeys home as they explored the live music scene listening to their favourite artists. 

Recently they have started working in the studio together. Here on Soundcloud is their latest collaboration under the HTZ alias.

Luca Terzini hailing from Dublin Ireland, is a minimal techno producer. His style can be described as funky, minimal, dark and deep. 

Starting his career in 2008 as the minimal scene started to catch fire, Luca began to zero in on his goal of making the perfect tracks that he could hear playing in his mind. 

Luca’s first taste of success comes with his debut remix for Patrik Soderbom on the Hong Kong based label Flat Belly Recordings. Not long after, he has his first appearance in the Beatport minimal top 100 with his remix of “Perfection” for Duky, which took the #21 spot. His collaboration with MicRoCheep & Mollo also reigns in some success in the same chart at #19 and goes down as one of his best sellers. 

In 2011 Luca tops his achievements with his funky minimal track “Long Island” placing himself at the #16 spot in the minimal charts. From here Luca has an onslaught of success placing other hits in the charts such as: Minicoffee, Schema, What Do You Want, Keep It Minimal!, Spearmint, Oh Brother, Holy Shit, Horsepower, Who Wants To Taste My Coffee and many, many others.

In this same year his hit track “You Can’t Afford Me” is released by the well known DJ Chuckie on his own imprint “Dirty Dutch Records” on CD and was also included in his DJ Mix.

Luca’s name and success have afforded him a spot at the top and his sound is in constant demand. He has been featured on some of minimal’s finest labels including: Minicoffee Records, Flat Belly Recordings, Bosphorus Underground Recordings, Substudio Records, Hamburg Aufnahmen. He has also collaborated with many well known and talented artists: Octave [Minus], Duky [Little Helpers], Daegon [Der Hut], Memnok [Budenzauber], Truci [Italo Business], Ted Dettman [303Lovers], Basciu & Riccardo M and many others.
