Mike gets this superb first EP underway with warm house gem ‘Discofloor’, a full flavour cut with lots of lush loops from the bassline to the sugary synths and the feel-good vocals. It’s a masterfully arranged track that is always taking you higher. The fantastic ‘Tounu’ has a deep but fat groove with quirky percussive sounds, bright chords and lush string stabs all topped off with a funky house feeling and filtered vocal sample that brings some Afro charm.

Danny’s ‘Someone’ keeps the good times flowing with the soulful synth flourishes and jazzy brass leads, elastic drum loops and brilliantly filtered, shaped and smeared synths that run the whole thing through with heat. Last but not least, this most characterful EP is closed with ‘Champagne’ which layers up cosmic synth motifs, hip-swinging claps and horn loops that all cannot fail to get a dance floor loved up and bouncing.

Danny gets things underway with 'Orange Juice', a thumping and peak time house slammer that washes over you as a potent wall of sound made from swirling vocals, sharp percussive details and textured chords that demand hand go skyward. 'Hotspot' has more funk in its lines, with loopy drums and horn stabs blasting out over a freewheeling bass loop. Smart filters keep things dynamic, and more impassioned vocal cries and stabs mean the track brims with energy.

Mike then steps up with an equally brilliant brace, starting with 'Don't Look My Name', which taps into '90s US vibes and the steamy, loopy intensity of legends like Armin Van Helden. The drums are bold, the synths are loud in the mix, and the vocal samples bring just enough human heat to set things off. Last but not least, 'Free As A Bird' is an emotional banger with heart-tugging vocal hooks and punchy house funk finished in style with bass twangs and big strings. Glorious stuff.

Mike kicks oﬀ with ‘What A Mess’, which is a brightly coloured mix of swirling pads and snappy kick drums. Rapped vocals bring great edge, and the whole track has a wonderfully loose energy. The fantastic ‘Go Out!” then layers up silky and pitched-up R&B vocals with more slinky drums and plenty of lively, feel-good synths. It’s a vibrant track that cannot fail to get the floor going.

Danny keeps the vibe flowing with his wonderful ‘Head In The Sky’, a loose-limbed disco, house and funk fused aﬀair with a catchy groove. Rich trumpets and classic vocal samples bring the soul to this ageless gem. Last of all is ‘In The Groove’, which has smart filtered melodies, percussive drums, and more great vocal samples that bring authentic soul to the modern beats.
