I’ve spent enough time on the dance floor. It’s my turn!

davicho - From the banging drums of African inspired beats from the north coast natives of Honduras, the Garifunas, to the sultry voices of motown to 70’s Beatle’s Pop and Disco to 80’s New Wave, 90’s Grunge, Hip-hop and Industrial House to modern Electronic/Dance/Indie music - davicho loves it all. If it’s good, catchy or just a damn great tune - it will be played - no discrimination. But even with such a wide array of music taste, early in his music development, davicho found an immediate connection to bands like Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Moenia, Soda Stereo, and The Postal Service to name a few.

Currently residing in NYC, davicho finds himself spinning minimal house beats to electro, nudisco/indie tracks a la Jamie xx. Having the ability to spin in several NYC locations (SoHo, Hell’s Kitchen, East Village and Brooklyn) and a current member of Astoria Dj Group (A.D.G) -  calls for a more versatile style of spinning which davicho easily adapts to while influencing the crowds. In the end, for davicho, it’s about having a great time - all through music.

A web developer by day and a multitasker since birth davicho is currently delving into music production. His ability to grasp programming concepts quickly coupled with the concept of having to be flexible in web development environments has given him the ability to master several hardware and software tools from straight up vinyl to Serato Scratchlive to Traktor to controllers. Stay tuned for original work, in the meantime enjoy his mixes and mashups.

U/ME is a US based Deep, Organic, Melodic, and Progressive House Dj with over 30 years in the music industry. A storyteller behind the decks, U/ME  builds a relationship with his audience by crafting each unique set with love and devotion for this amazing music.
