Originally from Miami FL, Rick began to DJ in '87. A decade later, he was introduced to House music while living in Atlanta. He was a resident for Starchildren, who had a long standing Friday night residency at Club Sol. He became a local favorite and was asked to work at Satellite Records, under Tommy Sunshine, where he held a part time job for several years. After a small hiatus and a move to Denver CO, he started a family and has now returned to his passion. His new mix series, "Unwind Your Mind", is influenced by the desire to be able to put aside your daily troubles and enjoy some music therapy. International DJ based in Marbella, Spain, having over 20 years of experience around Europe and Asia.
Born and raised in Ukraine, he began his music career in the early 2000s, performing as DJ and organising showcases in his native country and far beyond its borders.  
Over the weekend he can perform at numerous venues. After opening the evening with soulful & deep house music in restaurants and pre-parties, Newman usually moves to night clubs, playing intensive house & techno rhythms. And when the sun rises up, he can be spotted at various after-parties, delivering massive progressive sound.

In the mid-2010s he moved to Vietnam, where he went on arranging exclusive events and touring throughout Southeast Asia.
Nowadays Newman lives in Spain, continuing to pursue his passion for music and travel.

Technical and spiritual elements of his music vision have been developing over the years.
Giving preferences to various genres, he eventually formed his unique style, where mesmerising depth goes together with strong dynamics, immersing listeners into the atmosphere of surrealism and phantasmagoria, allowing to perceive full interconnection between your body and soul..
