Greetings! My name is Chris and I'm an astronomer living in Flagstaff, AZ. When I'm not looking up at the stars and thinking about the universe I'm listening to music. I've been DJing deep and melodic/organic house music for a little over 7 years and enjoy taking listeners on magical and dreamy adventures through time and space.

I find myself inspired by the harmonious blend of sounds from the natural world. The gentle rustle of leaves in the wind, the melodious chirping of birds, the rhythmic flow of a nearby stream - all contribute to a symphony of sounds that can spark creativity and evoke deep emotions. 

Based in Los Angeles, California, British-born DJ/producer Nick Newman has established himself as one of the most original and deeply-textured artists in the electronic music scene. Newman’s music, characterized by its warm meditative quality and ethereal soundscapes, has made its way onto industry-leading labels such as Armadillo Records, Akbal Music, Hoomidaas Records, JOOF Recordings, Manual Music, Seven Villas, The Soundgarden, Sudbeat Music, and Stripped Recordings. His sound has also garnered support from some of the world’s most influential DJ’s such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Gai Barone, Pablo Bolivar, Kora, Armen Miran, Robbie Akbal, and more. Equally as impressive, Newman began his career as a DJ at age 14. International DJ based in Marbella, Spain, having over 20 years of experience around Europe and Asia.
Born and raised in Ukraine, he began his music career in the early 2000s, performing as DJ and organising showcases in his native country and far beyond its borders.  
Over the weekend he can perform at numerous venues. After opening the evening with soulful & deep house music in restaurants and pre-parties, Newman usually moves to night clubs, playing intensive house & techno rhythms. And when the sun rises up, he can be spotted at various after-parties, delivering massive progressive sound.

In the mid-2010s he moved to Vietnam, where he went on arranging exclusive events and touring throughout Southeast Asia.
Nowadays Newman lives in Spain, continuing to pursue his passion for music and travel.

Technical and spiritual elements of his music vision have been developing over the years.
Giving preferences to various genres, he eventually formed his unique style, where mesmerising depth goes together with strong dynamics, immersing listeners into the atmosphere of surrealism and phantasmagoria, allowing to perceive full interconnection between your body and soul..
