The second edition of Sound Avenue Mixes is presented to you by the remarkably gifted St.Ego. Precisely a year ago, he initially stamped his mark in music production with our parent label, 3rd Avenue. From that point onwards, St.Ego has developed into a resident artist across all Sound Avenue labels, offering substantial contributions via numerous original tracks and remixes.

His exceptional work caught the attention of several distinguished labels such as Dreamers, Flug Lab, Soundteller, The Purr, Stellar Fountain, M-Sol Records, One Of A Kind, and many more.

Most recently, we released his ambient album "Feel It" on our Daydreamers sublabel.

Sound Avenue Mixed 002 - St.Ego

Though we have been fans of his music for a few years, we were introduced to Söhns through his and Chris IDH's Afro-style springtime remix of resident Snowedin’s Rabbit Valley, and we’re honored to welcome him back to the Sky Terrace fold. Based in Katerini, Greece, Söhns’s résumé includes releases with organic house innovators Melody of the Soul, Amulanga, and Where the Shadow Ends. Listening to this twelfth installment of Moonlight Mixtapes gives us the feeling that he effortlessly strikes an equilibrium between mind, body, and sound. Forays into the deep-ends of house juxtaposed with playful notes of flamenco guitar, Norwegian electronica, and tribal chant give this mix an air of reverie that’s versatile enough for day-to-night rotation.

St.Ego grew up in St. Petersburg, he has always been attracted by electronic music and its ability to create a unique atmosphere. After experimenting with different genres, he found his niche in the Organic House scene, but also continues to compose Chill out and Ambient music. Thanks to his passion for music and production talent, he quickly gained recognition and earned the respect of his industry peers.
