Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Javonntte Garrett has been producing music and DJing since the early 1990s, working with legendary producers Blake Baxter, Amp Fiddler and Dez Andres throughout the years. Garrett has also had a steady string of releases as a solo producer on labels such as Traxx Underground, Quintessentials, Kai Alce’s NDATL, as well a standout appearance on ‘Coloring Lessons Volume n°2’, which also featured Barbie Bertisch, musclecars, Toribio, Ian Friday and more.  Making his return to the label with a full solo EP, the Detroit DJ/producer turns in five original house tracks with a bonus remix from Brooklyn’s Toribio, known for his BDA party and his work as the brains behind Conclave (Love Injection Records). From the opening track ‘House Grammy’, produced in collaboration with label heads musclecars, through to the closing remix from Toribio, the release is a display of soulful yet hard-hitting, groove-driven house of the highest order.

Solid Grooves unveil their 2022 'Ibiza Sampler' as Michael Bibi and PAWSA invite seven of the label's residents and regulars for a huge summer offering.

2022 is shaping up to be a year to remember for Solid Grooves as they celebrate ten years in style with a host of stand-out shows, including OFF Sonar and Kappa Futur, alongside recent appearances at Space Miami, Fabric and Printworks.

However, the crown jewel in the programming undeniably comes via their biggest Ibiza season to date. With a move to renowned institution DC10 backed by lineups stacked full of talent, the collective only adds to things on the label front as they reveal their latest summer compilation. Opening the season in style, the nine-track 'Ibiza Sampler' welcomes the arrival of a stacked V/A with fresh heat from close friends and ever-impressing regulars.

In usual fashion, co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA contribute a pair of heavily-requested signature cuts, alongside peak-time and after-hours anthems from residents Dennis Cruz, Eddy M, Reelow, Ramin Rezaie and Bassel Darwish, plus label signees Classmatic and JUST2.

Following the great success of Detroit Swindle's "Boxed Out" Album we present you the second single take out. Their collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne on “64 Ways" already gained massive support from DJ's and radio stations around the globe in the past weeks and we're proud to present you this remix pack with none other than Kerri Chandler, Kraak & Smaak and Detroit Swindle's remix of Detroit Swindle (Inception anyone?).

It's an honor to have one of the godfathers of House: Kerri Chandler on remix duties. He has been a great supporter of the guys over the past years, often showing off his piano skill over "Guess What" and generally supporting a lot of The Swindlers tunes. He turned the original version of "64 Ways" in a true Kerri "Kaoz" Chandler tune with the use of his trademark key progressions and drums. Don't miss out on the instrumental if vocals aren't really your thing.

The second remix is done by the guys themselves and oh boy what a monster tune it is! Stripped down to just a few basics from the original, adding a lovely filtered key loop, they made a deep dance floor burner in true Swindle style: "swing, drop, and everything else".

As a final to this fine remix pack we asked fellow Dutch house heads Kraak & Smaak to return the favor on the remix tip after Detroit Swindle remixed their track "The future is yours" with Ben Westbeech. They came up with a full on Disco House stomper, with a bass line that will stick with you for the rest of the day and an irresistible disco feel.

Neroli reaches release number 50 during its 20th anniversary and celebrates with a special project, an album of songs by some of the label artists and friends. The title reference goes back to 20 years ago when label’s honcho Volcov decided to give the label the name of Brian Eno’s Neroli album, an hour long ambient opus inspired by the oil derived by the flowers of the Seville orange. So after 20 years and 50 releases the label goes full circle and offers an album of delicate and heartwarming melodies and atmospheric songs. The talent of original UK dons Kirk Degiorgio, Dego and Ian o’Brien is enrolled once again to guarantee sophistication and depth. Patrice Scott and Fred P, who had recently released eps on Neroli, are joined here by fellow spacecadet Aybee…all delivering warm futuristic pieces! K15 and Linkwood debut on the label, opening and closing the album with class. And there is even a lost composition by Volcov himself with Detroit’s Gerald Mitchell and Pirahnahead as part of some 2010 sessions that might resurface soon…THE FIRST CIRCLE is complete!
