Born and raised in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx in New York City comes the charismatic aura. Lex has a very versatile sound & always sets a vibe in his music presenting vivid imagery, melodic sounds, and catchy cadences that just walk on beats. 
He has performed at credible venues such as SOB's, Carnesecca Arena, SXSW, Irving Plaza, Toads Place, The Knitting Factory, FREQ Night Club and more.
Lex Cortez has also performed on the "See You In Hell Tour" headlined by the Flatbush Zombies. Additionally, he opened for artists such as Rich The Kid, Don Q, Jay Critch, Konshens, and Grammy Award winning artist H.E.R.
