"EMBER EVOLUTION" is my rendition of Illenium's FALLEN EMBERS set fused with Excision's THE EVOLUTION set! It contains most of the tracks from each setlist along with mashups from myself and a few other artists! I of course had to add some adobo flavor in the mix!

Illenium B2B Excision @ Lost Lands 2019 was one of my favorite sets of all time and I've been needing another B2B with their most recent albums! (Fallen Embers and Onyx)I was "losing patience"🤣 and this remake was the result!

I originally made this for me and my friend's listening pleasures and was hesitant on posting a "set remake/rendition" at first... So I hope you all enjoy!🥺

This is the first mix of a new series I am making called "What if", in this series I am recreating a B2B set between two artists who have never done a B2B together.  The set is going to be based on what both artists play live at events and what I would imagine they would play if they did together.

Bio:
Brian Schatzel, Adastra, is a Seattle-based music producer and DJ, known for blending melodic-focused EDM with pop sensibility, both in the studio and with his dynamic, high energy DJ sets. With residencies at multiple Seattle nightclubs over the past five years, he has garnered experience adding his flexible style to a variety of genres.

When it comes to music production, Adastra, who's name comes from the Latin translation of "to the stars”, often focuses his sound around a sense of sci-fi euphoria. Exploring everything from future bass, trap, melodic dubstep, and even trance, his original music has earned features and releases on several music collectives/labels, blogs, and YouTube channels. The past couple years have seen his first official remix for Monstercat artist, Disero, and multiple releases on Seattle powerhouse label, Simplify Recordings. Most recently, his Apollo EP has received the attention and support of artists such as Tokyo Machine, Adventure Club, Caslow, and Brainheart.

Aside from producing and DJing, Adastra has always been an advocate of growing and supporting the local music community. Whether it's co-founding a music production club at the University of Washington (@empatuw), or maintaining his "PNW Producer Radio" Spotify playlist, Adastra is always looking for ways to help local artists and support his local scene.
