We welcome Yahra for the fiftieth edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series. Hailing from Bengaluru, India, he is currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. Yahra's love for electronic music began in the early 2000s when he discovered trance music through Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Ferry Corsten. Over the years, he explored different sub-genres and eventually found himself drawn to the deeper and more melodic realm of electronic music.

Yahra's preferred genre is Organic House, though he usually plays groove-heavy progressive house to energize dance floors at nightclubs and festivals. His love for traveling to picturesque locations worldwide inspires his distinctive and personalized music productions. Yahra's music has gained momentum since his top 8 remix on Anjunadeep’s remix competition in early 2021, his journey has since led him to release well-received records on established imprints such as 3rd Avenue, Flug Lab, The Purr, all while receiving support from multiple international artists.

Yahra's DJ sets are renowned for their uniqueness, as he delves into extensive music catalogs to offer his audiences a fresh perspective on the dance floor. He has performed as a supporting act for world-renowned names like Andrew Bayer, Booka Shade, Jody Wisternoff, Luttrell, Two Lanes, Qrion and many more. Yahra reminisces about his favourite event when he supported Kora at Tru Ultra Lounge in Phoenix, describing this unforgettable experience as a mind-blowing one, thanks to the incredible energy in the room that left a lasting impression on him. Despite having played several shows since then, it remains a cherished memory that he will undoubtedly carry with him for a long time to come. He has always looked up to artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger, and Guy J, to name a few, whose remarkable contributions to the electronic music scene have undoubtedly inspired Yahra's artistic pursuits. 

Yahra plans to keep building momentum in 2023 and elevate his career trajectory as an artist. He has recently unveiled his very first EP 'Lightly' on 3rd Avenue featuring two tracks which are a fine act of his sonic wizardry. He has many upcoming releases and numerous live performances, to display his musical genius and leave a lasting impression on the electronic music community. "With mixes, I always try to keep the music light. I want people to throw my mix on while they're working, driving, running, relaxing at the beach/park etc., and that is exactly what I've tried to create with this mix as well. I hope everyone enjoys it and thank you for inviting me :)", he shares.

Alain Pauwels is a progressive house dj/producer based near Antwerp, Belgium.
Led by a profound love for electronical music, surrounded by passionate professionals, practitioners and a supportive progressive house family, Alain has been driven to share his passion of mixing sublime tracks and to bring joy across all boundaries.
Inspired by pioneers in the scene such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Marcelo Vasami amongst others and many well-respected labels, Alain started to dedicate himself in creating uplifting progressive house mixing, with an occasional flavor of deep house, organic house and melodic techno.
As from end-2018 Alain has his own ‘PROGRESSIVA’ show on Proton Radio, a US based digital radio station which also runs its own record label. Alain invites every month an international artist to provide a guest mix for the show. Alain also has residency on XBeat Radio, a French/Belgian digital radio station, providing his monthly ‘Elements’ podcast. 
His live dj performing path re-started mid-2019, after a sabbatical of nearly 20 years coming from the vinyl age. In that same year he became, and till date still is, resident at the Connecting Souls nights by Clay van Dijk. Ever since Alain has performed in clubs and on events where he shared the decks with Hermanez, Eran Aviner, Madloch, Lost Desert, Kasper Koman, Nicolas Rada, Marcelo Vasami, Alex O'Rion, Dmitry Molosh, Danny Howells and Eichenbaum amongst others.
As from end-2019 Alain has started a collaboration with French producer Arnold Toutain, which resulted till date in productions which are released on Nature Rec, Musique de Lune, Future Avenue, 3rd Avenue and INTU Music. Each release has been supported by ‘El Maestro’ Hernan Cattaneo and many other well-respected artists in the community. Alain has started as well a collaboration with Argentinian dj/producer Valen Gonzalez, receiving already early support in these and released on onedotsixtwo, LuPS and Mango Alley.
Watch out for Alain as the coming years will bring more new music and gigs, which makes him here to stay!
