Out now on Above & Beyond's imprint Anjunabeats: gardenstate & Bien's emotive collaboration 'The Best Part'.

Originally released in 2016 by Bien, gardenstate’s Marcus Schössow discovered the track while browsing Netflix. After contacting the Nashville-based indie pop band, their collaboration made its way to Anjunabeats in July 2021.

Included on gardenstate's 'Inspirations' album (released in October 2021), the heartfelt track has seen a new lease of life in recent months. 'The Best Part' has been streamed over five million times as of May 2022, with over 47,000 videos using the track on Instagram Reels, and support in Spotify's 'Chill Tracks' and 'Viral Dance' playlists.

'The Best Part' has also been remixed by Patrice Bäumel and Lost Prince, with Patrice's remix becoming a favourite of UK tastemakers Camelphat, and supported multiple times on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong.

Dj Alex F was born and raised in Portugal,  at the age of 14 he started mixing in local mobile disco, very popular at the time. 
 He was a resident dj at some clubs in Portugal and worked for a few years as a free lancer.Techno music was always his forte, and he was well known for his energetic sets at the parties he played. Producing music has always been a goal he had, in 2003 when he moved to the united states everything became possible, and not only did he start his career as a producer, he also created his record label, which still spreads music around the world to this day. 
 Styles such as tribal house, techno, techouse, he participated in many projects, many of them with international relevance,  with over 280 original and remix tracks released worldwide. Owner of two record labels ( Houzone Music and Drumlab Records), Alex F continues to prove he is a force in the underground scene.
