DJ Joshua Ruiz is an up and coming figure in the house and circuit music scenes, known for his dynamic and energetic sets. Born in New York City to a mixed Cuban and Puerto Rican family, Joshua was immersed in house music from a young age. He moved to Miami for college in 2010, where he was exposed to the vibrant nightclub scene and music from industry legends. This experience significantly influenced his musical style​.

Joshua Ruiz's sound is a blend of tech house, tribal circuit, and sultry progressive beats. His sets are known for their ability to create a journey for listeners, incorporating influences from renowned DJs such as Abel Aguilera and Eddie Martinez. He made his mark in the New York City nightlife scene starting in the summer of 2021 and has quickly gained recognition for his versatility and ability to play to diverse crowds​.

Currently, Joshua holds residencies at  -  The Manor in Wilton Manors, Florida, The Eagle NYC, Kinetic Events DC, LPN Miami, XION Atlanta, BOS Philly, LEGACY (Boston) and the world renowned Masterbeat. In addition to his residencies, Joshua has also launched and produced his own event - “Tribal Sessions” in NYC which has been met with acclaim from his peers and fans alike. In the winter of 2025, Joshua made his coveted Winter Party Debut for its closing - ACTION FINALE event in Miami, Florida. 

His performances are a staple at various events and parties, including the "Bootcamp" event in Washington, D.C., and the Masterbeat Spring Break event in Los Angeles, where he has captivated audiences with his distinctive beats​.
