BIOGRAPHY:
Tipped by Zone Magazine as ‘One to Watch’, Strike One is an award-winning DJ and producer who has been spreading his sound far and wide from his small town roots in Cumbria.

He first broke onto the scene in 2018 after winning two successive national DJ competitions, with one being hosted by popular drinks company WKD to 'Be The Face' of their brand as their go to DJ for events and festivals across the UK and Europe. 

Success in the competitions led to a string of noteworthy appearances with highlights including playing the main stage at a sold out Snowboxx Festival in the French alps alongside Craig David, Rudamental and Wilkinson, Rise Festival on a line up that included Camelphat, Sonny Fodera and Annie Mac and  Tramlines Festival where he opened up for BBC Radio 1's Danny Howard.

His profile as a highly skilled DJ, with a finger on the pulse of all things house music, has seen him play at a number of world renowned institutions such as Ministry of Sound, Ibiza Rocks and The Arch where he was invited to play the official afterparty for Brighton Music Conferences with house music icons David Morales and Marshall Jefferson. 

With his introduction into music coming from an early fascination with the art form of DJing, Strike One experienced music in its entirety at a young and impressionable age. Through relentless dedication to music over the following decade Strike One developed an extraordinary technical ability behind the decks and has become known for his hands on energetic style of mixing and ability to transfer his passion for the music on to the dance floor.  

Strike One describes his sound as ‘house music that makes you move’, combining his vast influences from nostaglic 90’s house along with the grooving techy sounds of today to carefully craft sets that immediately draw a crowd.  

Not content with staying solely behind the decks, in 2019 he launched his own podcast 'It's All Gone Strike One' which has now been picked up by Ibiza Club News and is broadcast monthly across all platforms as part of his residency with ICN Radio. 

His tireless drive and unstoppable passion for music means that there will be plenty of chances to hear the sound of Strike One in the near future!
