DJ Andre Perry has always loved music and gained an interest in it at a very young age. He started DJing in 1987 playing college parties at Georgia Southern University. He performed at campus functions until his graduation in 1992. After returning back to Atlanta he landed a Saturday night residency at the infamous "Club Oxygen". Over the following years he traveled the Atlanta club scene and has worked non - stop since then as a resident at over 27 Nightclubs and now he resides at Opera, Halo, Koo Koo Room, Vanquish and Gold Room in Atlanta. Andre Perry's unique style of mixing has sent him all over to play with the biggest DJs and producers in the world including: DJ Rap, Dean Coleman, Richard "Humpty" Vission, Bad Boy Bill, Satoshi Tomiie, Deep Dish, DJ Collette, Donald Glaude, Felix Da Housecat and Kaskade just to name a few. He has also opened and played for in concert: Fountians Of Wayne, Ludacris, J-Kwon,  Alisha Keys, Diddy, Chingy, Black Eyed Peas, JC Chasez, Good Charlotte, Michelle Branch, Joss Stone, Ashley and Jessica Simpson, Big Boi from Outkast, Gavin Degraw, Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, Relient K, Backstreet Boys and Will Smith. After a small hiatus with traveling outside the Atlanta area, 2011 opened new doors and got him back to playing around the United States. His recent booking in Paris to perform and a planned European / Asian tour in the works for June/July is sure to make him an international icon for 2012. 
Aside from playing venues, Andre Perry has been working radio as a famed mix show personality. Early in his career, he was featured on the 99x Beat Factory radio mix show in Atlanta. He also mixed on Hot 107.9 in Panama City, Florida, and Produced and DJ'd a "LIVE" mix show every Saturday Night for 8 years from 10 PM until 2am on Atlanta's Top 40 Radio Station, All The Hits Q-100. In 2010, Andre joined forces with Atlanta's Hottest Clear Channel Top 40 Creation, Wild 105.7 and 96.7! He now has a daily mix show (Monday through Friday) at 12:20pm called "12:20 Wild Mix"! Andre has always had the dream of taking Electronic Dance Music and bridging it to radio on a totally different level. He has made this come true in 2012 by teaming with radio mastermind and close friend, Bree. The newest radio venture by these two is called, "PrototypeRadio". PrototypeRadio consists of everything from Electro, House, Techno, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, etc. and is mixed by the worlds biggest DJs and producers! Andre is co-founder with Bree and they co-produce and co-host the first radio program of its kind within terrestrial radio in the US, and within all of Clear Channel’s 750+ Radio Stations.
DJing and Radio aren't Andre's only assets, He has had an extensive music business career that started in the mid 90's. In 1994 he jumped into the industry working for Vibrations magazine and Perry Music Associates in which he assisted in the signing of the rock group "Dead Eye Dick" to Ichiban Records. After a few years under his belt, he landed work with Remix Central and was starting to build himself as an established DJ throughout the industry. In 1998, Andre Perry saw the beginning of a new venture. He joined the team at DMA Magazine as the Special Projects Director. He traveled the US for 6 years with DMA not only writing for and exposing the magazine but also promoting his national DMA Compilation release "Clubhouse" on Fusebox Recordings. In June 2000, Andre joined yet another team at MIXMAN as the Atlanta Regional Promotional Director which has lead him to Djing work with such companies as INTEL, MATTEL and BEATNIK (While working with these companies, he traveled with the groups: JET, SIMPLE PLAN, PUDDLE OF MUDD and GREEN DAY). In June 2002, looking back on his achievements as a DJ, Andre founded and opened the only DJ School of its kind in the Southeast called, "ATLANTADJACADEMY". Here he shared his knowledge and experiences with those future DJs who are aspiring to reach people through music. Atlanta DJ Academy was sold in 2008. Andre has since been staying busy with not only Radio, DJing and Producing, but with the companies Ableton and Serato Scratch Live demonstrating their products across the Southeast at Clinics, Music Superstores and Conventions. 
He is also squeezing in practice and performances with his DJ partner, Jus Clae. Andre Perry and Jus Clae make up the group "State of Play" and are part of the agency TRAKSTARS.com. State of Play's skills range from Turntablism, flawless blending, impeccable programming and technical scratching all put together on 4 turntables. This duo has known each other for over 15 years and finally decided to use their skills together and give the world the greatest DJ performance ever seen. Working 4 turntables, STATE OF PLAY puts a whole new meaning to the term "Mash Up". Their ability to seamlessly mix, cut and scratch multiple records at one time non-stop for hours has stopped people in their tracks. Both artists come from a musical background and have a library of music to constantly keep the crowd guessing. STATE OF PLAY's sets cover just about every genre of music matched perfectly while keeping the crowd hyped. No genre is left untouched in this magical performance making this pair sought after worldwide.
